Remembering A Very Special Dog

Peanut
Oct 22,1998 - Dec 25, 2012

My daughters family recently lost
a very special family member.
 Peanut
their loyal and loving dog of 14 yrs
passed away in her sleep on 12/25/2012.

We know she was welcomed at the bridge by
her mother Rue and
one of her "pug babies", Hazel's mom Sofie

Peanut was one of those special ones.

A beautiful dog.
Her mother, Rue, was a rottweiler
her father an Alaskan Malamute.
She looked intimidating if you did not know her
and she did not know you.

 The protector of her domain

fiercely loyal to all in her family
people and pets alike.

But what a sweetheart she was

You would always see her
around her kids

Right by their sides
through the years as they grew up

Her first exposure to a Pug was actually our Bailey

My daughter had found Bailey for us and
he lived with them for a few weeks until
we could make arrangements to get him.
As you can see they were great friends.

When my daughter adopted
Hazel's parents, Buzz and Sofie,
they became like the babies she never had.
She was just as protective of the pugs
as she was of the kids.

  2. Peanut was an angel on Earth and now at the Bridge. I'm sure she has met our Angel Nicki, who was the same.

  7. Peanut sounds like a great dog, one of the best. I just smiled from ear to ear seeing her with the pug puppies. I'm sure this was an especially hard loss on Christmas day, but it's great that she lived a very long life and left peacefully, free of pain. Sending prayers of comfort to you and the rest of her family.
    Love,
    Christy

  11. This tribute is so beautiful. Peanut is now in the arms of the angels-- and feeling love- and telling everyone what a happy home she had.
The paw prints left on your heart will remain forever.
