Good Smelling Mail!

Saturday we got a package in the mail
It was from our friends
Reilly & Denny at Cowspotdogs

Reilly recently celebrated his birthday
by having a Birthday Bash giveaway
and we were one of the lucky winners!

We could SMELL the good stuff in the box

Silly Blogger put the picture sideways
four varieties of Sojos food to try
some salmon treats that Bailey went crazy for
and a beautiful picture frame
 painted by their talented Mom

Sojos is freeze dried raw food that you add water to

we decided to try the lamb recipe first and
Mom mixed a spoonful in our dinner

Bailey dove right in

Me too!

You can see my bowl already empty!

Hazel was not too sure about it

What have you put in my dinner Mom?

She decided it was OK too!

Mom put some on our dinner again last night
and we all chowed down
Can't wait to try another variety

And look!

Mom found the perfect picture to put in the frame!

Thanks Reilly!
for sending us this great package
and letting us celebrate your birthday with you

A Hiking We Did Go!

Dad found us a nice little trail

and we went on a nice little hike

do you see the trail through the trees?

Hazel & Dad & I got a ways ahead
 Hurry Mom & Bailey

There was lots of neat smells

The sound of the creek water, natures music

More neat smells!

We were hiking right along the creek

Doesn't it look peaceful

Look along the edge - it looks like bubbles -
 butt

they are little white flowers
growing in the water

Lets take a rest and then we will show you the
coolest thing we found in a tree

Do you see it?

What do you think it is?

Let's look closer!

 a birds nest

With one little egg!
We never saw the momma bird,
but we were careful not to disturb it

The weather was hot and the creek so inviting

did I get in the water?
Come back tomorrow to find out!

A Camping We Did Go!

Last Wednesday morning we took off
for our promised camping trip
We decided to go to a familiar place
that isn't too far from home

On our way!

We are only about 10 miles out of town
 and it already looks pretty

I think we are heading
to the back side of those mountains

A little while later Dad found
 the perfect camping spot

Tall trees for shade and behind the trees a creek!

Dad backed the wheelie house right under the trees
and we set up camp

Home away from home!

We even had a tree in our penned area

On the other side of the tree some green stuff

which made the pawfect pee area!

We spent most of the day
setting up camp,  did some exploring
and a lot of relaxing

Dad is getting the campfire started

Gotta have a campfire when you are camping!

And the coals are great
for cooking tin foilees for dinner

OMD! Camping can wear a puggie out

Is it bedtime yet?

After a good nights sleep
 we were ready for another
day of adventure

Dad found us a pretty trail to hike
and we can't wait to show you
the beautiful things we saw!
