See Beautiful Friday

Today we are joining our furiend Sugar for

This Moment - See Beautiful

It has been almost one year since we lost our
 Sweet Greta

I don't think there has been one day
that I have not shed tears for her

But in the memories I hold so dear in my heart

 I See Beautiful

It is this time of year I usually attend
3 day obedience/rally trial

I have been thinking back to August 2013
when Greta and I showed in Rally and Obedience

and she earned her first title in Rally Novice

It was a beautiful weekend

In addition to her Rally Title,
she also qualified 2 days in Beginner Novice Obedience

and finished that title in June 2014

Thinking back, for some reason I thought that Greta struggled with focus when we were in the ring

Well I was lucky to have family and friends
take lots of pictures and most of them showed
me just how focused Greta was -  on me

Back at the same venue in 2014

Greta qualified two days in PreNovice Obedience last year and some of you may recall it was on the 3rd day
that she puked right at the judges feet!
Ooops!

It was also at this trial that the judge commented
"Well you can't beat a recall like that!"

In this picture I am telling Greta to stay
before I walk across the ring to call her to me

And thanks to the magic of technology
I was able to string the photos together so you can see

Greta's Beautiful "Recall"

Miss you my beautiful girl

  3. she was a superstar ... and she was a pretty cool girl... that was not bad to puke at the judges feet :o) She is always with us when we drive in the elephant skater and she is our guardian pug-angel... I hope she will tell me once who smashed the mirror of our car, she was the only one who saw it... I bet she will give me a sign when she sees that dirtbird again :o)

  13. Mom has a big frog stuck in her throat, wow Greta was so smart at all those trials, and she focused on you really really well. We loved watching her ears flap when she ran, Mom says she will always think of her when she looks at our Maggie. Gussie, well he just sighs, and sometimes sits up on the tree branch.
