Snow for Thanskgiving

It started snowing the day before Thanksgiving

Mom was glad to get off work early
and she made it home before the storm arrived
(she has a 30 mile drive each way)

the snow stopped for a little while
but then started up again and snowed all night
It was still snowing when we got up Thanksgiving morning

Dad!  - look at all that white stuff!

you really don't think we need to go out do you?

It kept snowing 'til late morning

The temps dropped to single digits at night
and 20's in the day so the snow is staying for a while

Dad shoveled some great trails for us

And we enjoyed the sun puddles

coming in the front window!

  17. Wow you guys got a lot of snow! I love the snow but don't care much for those super low temps. I hope it warms up a bit for you guys so you don't get so cold when you're out playing in your yard. Good thing you have lots of sunny spots to warm up in!

    -Love,
    Sid.

  18. We didn't get that much snow and it all went away. We are really glad your mom made it home safe. Our Lady has a long commute (about 38 miles) and doesn't love it in the winter. We are suppose to get freezing rain in the afternoon tomorrow. She is not impressed!

  22. Snow oh No! A lot of people like snow. I find it to be an unnecessary freezing of water.

  30. We didn't have any snow for Thanksgiving...but that's not a bad thing! However now that it's December I think we're ready for some...but not a lot like that! Still...it certainly is pretty, isn't it?
