Snow & Frigid Cold!

Winter is here!

We had a bad snow storm on Friday

It snowed and the wind blowed all day and the temperatures dropped to single digits, below zero at night!

After plowing the driveway, Dad used the snowblower to give us some area to potty

Do you see the pheasant??
They like to live in the willow bushes below our driveway

We prefer to stay inside where it is warm

Mr Bailey is really happy that Dory sent him this soft and cozy blanket for his birthday.
It keeps him toasty at night

  17. We can so understand that you aren't crazy about the cold or the snow, so you can just tell your Dad to move that snow East to Kansas - we will be happy for it. We can't say the same about Mom's feelings.

That is a very nice blankie for Mr. Bailey - keeps him cozy and warm.

  21. Wow, we both got snowy weather lately! Your yard looks like mine. BOL I gotta get my dad to clear a potty spot for me too. Boy, you look so snuggly. Getting cozy is one benefit to the cold weather.

  25. We have the cold, but we got rid of the snow. It is terrible. Hiding under the blankets is the best way to deal with the cold. We don't have quite as many cards as you do. Ours got mailed off today

  26. Looks like you kept all the snow up north. Mom said that is a good thing butt me and Stanley could use a couple feet of it.

  27. Your daddy is VERY kind to do that for you!
We finally got some snow here! Actually, ice first, which wasn't wonderful at all, then snow! That was the really good part! Oh, and our wind chills have been at 10-20 below. Awesome! ...except that Mom doesn't want to stay out with us for very long -- and we have this "if we're outside, either mom or dad are outside" rule. Oh, well. We've had fun playing indoor games, too!
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher

  28. Love your new blankie! We had to have mom shovel a 'latrine' for us too. 10" is too deep for squatting purposes. BOL
