It's Flower Friday with Angel Dory

We are joining Angel Dory for Flower Friday!

We had a couple of days of strong winds last week
The wind blew all the beautiful petals off our tree

Then the wind blew all the petal stems off the tree
and all over the deck and yard

But despite some more winter like weather

we do have some flowers at the PugRanch

some of the ground cover is blooming

We seem to have an explosion of purple flowers

Even in the memorial garden we have blooms

Do see all the buds on this plant??
Soon it will be covered with not purple
but pink flowers!!!

We are the PugRanch Kids

  4. I like purple flowers. There's a bunch of them in the corner by the back door that I like to pee on. Ghostwriter always gets mad at me for that. She says I'm not supposed to pee on the lavender. Whatever that means!

  11. Ajuga well we call it bugleweed here in Nati City because it will take over and kill everything around it even crabgrass. But it does have pretty flowers with a dark foliage.
    Thanks for being a friend

  13. We had all that scary wind earlier this week and now we have tons of rain and more rain. All the baseball games for the grands big tournament got cancelled tonight:( But at least the rain is good for the grass and flowers. You have some very pretty flowers - be sure to show us those pink ones when they burst into flowers.

  17. Beautiful flowers there at your house dear furiends. We had a rather serious storm here last evening as well. Sounds like it did some serious damage a few miles away as there's been chain saws going as well as a chipper and some hammering as well... We're not a big fan of storm season here...
