Hazel's Rock

We picked up Hazel's name rock last week

Saturday Mom & Dad did some clean up
 in the memorial garden

and placed her rock with the others

Mom has been feeling pretty emotional
Seeing Hazel's name in the garden
has made it all too real.

Mom also cleaned & dusted
the special shelves in the bedroom.
Dad placed Hazel's collar
and some dried flowers in with her

Now one more pug angel watches over us

Hugs
Mabel

  1. Oh Mabel....bless your sweet peeps hearts. Hazel is home in all forms now nestled in pug hugs with Angel Greta and Mr. Bailey and all the other who passed before her.
Having all those angles watching over your home is a blessing.
I finished my quilt today....it has permanent home on the back of the upholstered couch where Angel Madi loved sitting. I think she would have enjoyed sitting on it.

  3. yes... that was my first thought too... it is real now... maybe we should do that too, but by now I had not the heart to do it... but maybe this step is important to find more peace and for being able to understand and to accept... hugs to you....

  9. We can understand why Mom would be emotional. All those angels are very special. And the rocks are such a great way to honor each of them.

  13. That is so sweet. Someone once said sadness comes from previously happy times. 💖

  14. There are just too many boxes on that shelf. We have to ask why they leave us so soon and there is no good answer.

  15. I felt a tug on my own heartstrings reading this post. How beautiful. I know your beloved angel Hazel and those who went before her are not that far away, and are watching over you all.

Lots of love and virtual hugs, my friends.

Chaplin: "We have a shelf like that here, too. It's in the hutch in the living room."
Charlee: "We are sending you lots of purrs, and Lulu sends tail wags, right, Lulu?"
    Lulu: "You betcha!"
