Ok Everybody
I know we left you hanging so
here we go
Most of the pictures are from Saturday cause one
of the grandpeeps came along with us
and ran the camera
Each morning we were in the Beginner Novice Class
First we do a short heeling pattern
following the signs
Forward, fast, slow, about turns and halt.
Then a figure 8 around two peeps
The lady in red is the judge
I also had to sit nicely and let
the judge touch my head
Next is the sit stay in the center of the ring
while Mom walks all the way around
Then Mom tells me to stay for the recall
She calls and I come running
In the afternoon we were in the
Rally Novice class
Rally is kinda like a road course,
we follow the numbered cones and
do what ever the sign tell us to do.
It's lots of fun and not as formal as obedience
Mom can talk to me and
use her hands and body language
(no touching though)
to guide me through the course
It was very hot butt
Mom kept me cool with my chilly pads
So
back to the title of this post
GREEN RIBBONS
Although it is nice to win a blue ribbon,
and they do award for 1st thru 4th place,
the green ribbons are the important ones
A green ribbon means that you earned
a qualifying score that counts toward your title
3 qualifying scores in a class earns that title
To qualify in obedience you need
at least 170 pts out of 200
To qualify in Rally you need
at least 70 pts out of 100
So without further ado

I qualified all three days in Rally Novice and
earned my RN title, finishing Sunday
with a score of 95 and 3rd place!
I qualified Fri and Sat in Novice Obedience
with 3rd place Fri and 4th place on Sat
Sunday I bailed on my sit stay cause
there was a stick over in the corner
I just had to check out
What can I say?
Like I told you Monday
What a Great Weekend!!!
