Once again the month has gotten away from us

 and we have two Chewy reviews to do!

Our first review is for

Mom says these seemed a little dryer than the cheese flavor and were a little harder to break up 

but on the plus side they don't crumble much

I say YUMMY!!!!

Wordless Wednesday

We Went Camping! Sort of

Finally we planned the first trip out 

in the new wheelie house!

 We weren't going too far

The Caribou National Forest just over an hour or so away

Hazel told me how fun camping is and I was really excited

Are we there yet Dad???

 We found the pawfect spot

right by the creek and plenty of shade

and that 

is when things went awry

We got out to survey the spot and discovered that some 

very inconsiderate campers

 had emptied their sewage on the ground near the creek!! 

WHO DOES THAT???

Then to make things more interesting

Mom was walking me & Hazel around and I was nose to the ground taking in all the new smells when suddenly..

I started sneezing - HARD

and then wheezing and sneezing

We got back in the pick up and after a bit the sneezing eased up but not enough that Mom & Dad quit worrying 

so we headed home. 

On the way home we did see some interesting things

We got behind a cattle drive!

 There were cattle dogs and horses and lots of cows

Then we got behind this solar car!!

It did not travel very fast - about 25 mile per hour

By the time we got home the sneezing had about stopped

We still wanted to camp so we did the silliest thing

We camped at Camp PugRanch!

Dad set up the wheelie house. opened the gates to the yard and used our camping pens to keep us safe

Then he put the rugs down and got out the camping chairs

After all that work it was time for a nap

In the evening we got the campfire going

Dad fixed some Jiffy Pop

Can you believe it was my first time eating popcorn??

We got to see a beautiful sunset

Then we went to bed in the wheelie house

and I slept like a log.

While it wasn't the camping trip we envisioned

we still had a lot of fun

 Today is a very special Flower Friday

It is also Miss Rosy's 1st Birthday!

We are gone camping for a couple of days

Thankful Thursday

Mabel & Hazel said I could have the blog today to tell you about the most amazing weekend.

We are so thankful that we were able to gather with family to celebrate the wedding of our granddaughter.

Cierra & Jacob are both in the Air Force 

and stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California

They chose to get married on Sunday July 1st

at Donner Lake, Truckee, CA

My son found a large cabin through Airbnb 

that was only 10 minutes from the lake

It was large enough for Stan & I, my son & wife, their oldest daughter Shea, youngest son Rob and son Bodie who flew down from Canada where he is coaching baseball for the summer. There was also the other grandma, an aunt & uncle, the maid of honor, and the photographer all staying at the cabin. It was so fun to all be together. 

Jacob stayed at place nearby with his Dad & sister that flew in from Pennsylvania, the best man & his wife  

and two of his good friends. 

We are so thankful everyone arrived safe!

 to take some pre-wedding photos

She is the daughter of my son's boss. 

A very talented and special young woman

she jumped at the chance to photograph

 this special weekend for us and flew into Reno 

with air miles donated by her dad. 

She stayed at the cabin with us and felt just like family

I am so thankful to have met this lovely woman

It was a beautiful evening 

as the soon to be newlyweds strolled on the beach
