#ChewyInfluencer November Review

We are here today to tell you about

Wild Frontier by Nutro Lamb & Liver Stew

You may remember that a couple of months ago Chewy asked if we would do a 30 day review of Nutro Wild Frontier Vital Prey Kibble. We did so well on it that we are still eating it. So when Chewy offered us a chance to try Nutro Wild Frontier canned food we jumped at the chance.

Special Blogville Announcement

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening fellow Blogville Residents!
Vice Mayor Mabel here, with the most handsome Mayor Arty.
As you may know,
we are wrapping up our second term in Blogville.

We are looking to you, the residents of Blogville,
for help in structuring Blogville in the future!
If you missed Arty's post earlier this year
and would like to be the future Mayor of Blogville
please leave a note in the comments
or send an email to Arty at
beth AT llb DOT com

Here are some impawtent words from Mayor Arty

You may be asking what responsibilities come with being Mayor? The most important thing is to be, what you might call, Blogville's cheerleader and community announcement center! You can also choose to host community events(but you don't have to)! Also, as the Mayor of Blogville, you would be the Blogville archivist! We would pass along the Blogville Administration and Portrait Hall page for your safekeeping.  We do realize that with Facebook, and Instagram, we don't have as many year long residents of Blogville, so....

...we have another option...

Blogville can be a village led by the citizens.  We would be honored to keep the Blogville Administration and Portrait Hall here at our Blogville House, and every citizen can basically just...keep doing what we're doing. Anyone can still feel free to host an event or be Blogville's cheerleader at any time!

Tell us what YOU want....Blogville is all about having fun in our community,
and only you can tell us what you think would be fun.

Please tell us what you would like in our comments
or leave a comment at Mayor Arty's !

Keeping Blogville Fun!

Wednesday Hazel Update

Hazel had her recheck this evening
Good news - the lump in her mouth is gone - must have been an infection and not the dreaded "C" word!

Her lungs sounded much better so we are cutting her lasix dose in half and see how she does. She will probably have to stay on it but the vet says she does not need any heart meds at this point.

Thank you everyone for your prayers, POPT and support
and for loving our little girl

Love

Monday Hazel Update

Thank you efurrybody for your POTP and prayers
and good thoughts for Hazel.
We love our sweet little girl so very much.

We are happy to say that Hazel is doing better!
Her wheezing cough is gone.
Her appetite has remained good.

The lasix must be doing it's job, Hazel has peed the bed the last two nights. But we can deal with that and take it as a sign that she is flushing the fluids out.

Her recheck is Wednesday late in the day.
We will let you know how that goes.

Thank you again dear furiends.

love,
Hazel, Mabel & Mom

Hazel needs some POTP - with Update

Took our sweet Hazel to the dogtor this afternoon
Tues evening she had a bad spell of a wheezing cough.
I had just given her a treat so we thought maybe it tried to go down the wrong pipe. I gave her an extra dose of her trachea medicine and it seemed to help.
When the cough was still present this morning I made an appt.  Our vet found that Hazel has fluid in her chest.
She also found a lump inside Hazel's mouth.
Hazel got an injection and we were sent home with a week of lasix and amoxicillin.
We go back in 6 days unless there is no improvement or she gets worse.

Would appreciate any prayers and POTP

Thank you friends

Update: Hazel is doing better this morning! The combination of POTP, prayers and medicine seem to be doing their job, we have had no bad coughing today. Our vet was unsure about the lump in Hazel's mouth and will check it again next week to see if the antibiotics helped.

love

A Short Break

Dear Friends

We may be silent for the next few days
Our Grandma, Dad's Mom, passed away yesterday
It was not unexpected
Grandma had been on a slow decline since falling about a year ago.
She had suffered from chronic pain for several years and then dementia
The last few months had been especially difficult.

We are thankful that we live very close and Dad was able to be a great help to Grandpa so that Grandma could stay at home. She was surrounded by loved ones when she passed.
A hard day for us but we are thankful that she has been released from her pain.

We are also thankful for all of our friends in Blogville

We will be back next week

love
Hazel, Mabel & Mom
