Special Blogville Announcement

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening fellow Blogville Residents!
Vice Mayor Mabel here, with the most handsome Mayor Arty.
As you may know,
we are wrapping up our second term in Blogville.

We are looking to you, the residents of Blogville,
for help in structuring Blogville in the future!
If you missed Arty's post earlier this year
and would like to be the future Mayor of Blogville
please leave a note in the comments
or send an email to Arty at
beth AT llb DOT com

Here are some impawtent words from Mayor Arty

You may be asking what responsibilities come with being Mayor? The most important thing is to be, what you might call, Blogville's cheerleader and community announcement center! You can also choose to host community events(but you don't have to)! Also, as the Mayor of Blogville, you would be the Blogville archivist! We would pass along the Blogville Administration and Portrait Hall page for your safekeeping.  We do realize that with Facebook, and Instagram, we don't have as many year long residents of Blogville, so....

...we have another option...

Blogville can be a village led by the citizens.  We would be honored to keep the Blogville Administration and Portrait Hall here at our Blogville House, and every citizen can basically just...keep doing what we're doing. Anyone can still feel free to host an event or be Blogville's cheerleader at any time!

Tell us what YOU want....Blogville is all about having fun in our community,
and only you can tell us what you think would be fun.

Please tell us what you would like in our comments
or leave a comment at Mayor Arty's !

Keeping Blogville Fun!

Yes, like Cecilia, I said to Arty that I too think keeping status quo, with more citizen spread as it has been this year is working well... It could be that as co-mayors, you may want to think of re-shuffling the 'cabinet' of officers, to fill posts now vacated or to have fresh interest. Blogville rocks!!! hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Mabel you and Arty have done such a great job these past two years. It's hard to believe it's been that long already. We're sad that some of our residents have stopped blogging and our numbers seem to have dwindled. If nobody steps up to the job we are okay with keeping the Blogville Administration and Portrait Hall at your Blogville House.

  9. We are hanging our head in shame and hiding under our paws! Me, Dougie Dog, that is! Mine Mommy got distracted with her photo-stuff and hasn't been part of much (for me) but she wants to get back into everyfurrything with the New Year. And I hope she keeps that resolution! I will still do Rainbow Bridge images (though I hope there will be NONE) and I will still do Prayers Badges for any who request them, anytime! And we are wondering about having a "daily linkies" set up if anyone is interested? We'll send out a note about that soon ... paws up to all, hope we are still welcome 'round here ...

  12. I love Blogville, and you two have done an incredible job. We are happy with it being more citizen-run. However, if you two are amenable to carrying on, I'd be super happy with that. But, we understand if you are ready to take a break from your jobs.
