Pumpkin Guts Memories
We realized that we recently passed a big milestone
We started blogging on Sept 30, 2012
Five years ago!!!!
We weren't aware of the great community of Blogville
when we first started, but when we found it
we were welcomed with open paws!
One year later we volunteered to host an event
for the very first time
Howl-a-Ween 2013
The Pumpkin Guts Slide
As we remembered this silly post,
we realized that some of the participants
are no longer blogging
and sadly quite a few are now at the Rainbow Bridge
including our own Angels
Greta and Mr. Bailey
So we would like to dedicate this Howl-a-Ween memory
to all our Blogville Angels
Hope it brings you some smiles!
Here We Go!
Let's get goooey!!!
Our first group is ready to go!
get right down in those pumpkin guts
Look out Casey!!
Cinderella is coming right behind you!
Norbert & Weasley thought it would be
fun to wrestle in the slime
and look at pretty Pippa balancing that pumpkin
Uh Oh
what do we have here ?
Looks like those lovebirds
found the hot tub!
Not to worry,
some special chaperones are keeping watch
OMD!
Here's some daredevils jumping off the hay bales
Little Molly waits her turn
a little too much pumpkin beer!
look out Noodles!
Elliot is coming in for a landing
These next sliders really impressed the crowd!
Mimi and Lily looked on
tried to stay on all four paws
Hey Toby! don't pee on that hay bale!
your supposed to be getting in the pumpkin guts
not eating the pumpkin guts!
Way to go Stella Rose!
through the pumpkin slime
BOL!
Ping & Tubby want to know if they can have a turn!
showing some pawsome sliding style
and Ruby bursting out of a pumpkin slime tunnel
really impressing the audience
Uh Oh!!
Trouble at the hay bales!
Yikes!
here comes Soldier
and WOW
they don't call him Cool Sid for nothin'
ridin' that hay bale down with a smile!
Now who is this character??
OMD!
Is that Easy??
cause
is
OUT OF CONTROL !!
LOOK OUT!!!!!
BWAA HAAA AHHAAAA!!
Great landing!!!
We hope you had fun
getting gooey!

No Tricks Just Treats for Shelters Hop!
Mayor Arty, Jakey and Little Miss Rosy, are holding their
Third Annual No Tricks Just Treats Blog Hop/Fundraiser
from October 27th thru October 29th(Friday through Sunday).
They are donating $1 for every blog that joins their Blog Hop
to Williamson County Animal Shelter!
Join the hop by showing how you are enjoying Halloween
and/or how you are helping your shelter!
PLUS,
for every comment they get at their blog through out the weekend
(Friday thru Sunday)
they will be donating to a couple of Blogville run charities!
25 cents to Legacy Boxer Rescue and 25 cents to Marg's Animals!
So spread the word.
The more comments and hoppers they get,
the more money will be raised for all the animals out there who need our help!
We use Amazon Smile when we shop online to help raise money for
the Pug Rescue that is right here in our home state of Idaho
And just today when Mom was shopping in town
she made a donation to homeless pets in need.
Let's all hop on the hop
and visit Arty, Jakey and Rosy at
Da DB Boyz to leave some comments.
Comment on their blog today, Saturday and Sunday
We want to raise lots of green papers!

Mom really liked the velcro closure!
So much easier to get open and shut
When do I get to try one Mom?
The treats are nice and small and can be broken even smaller if you are silly enough to want to do that
I would like some more!!! |
I found them to be yummy
They are only 2 calories per treat which makes them pawfect for training.
Thank you Chewy for letting us try these out
disclaimer: we were provided on bag of Nulo Training Treats free of charge in exchange for our honest review

Weekend Agility Fun!
As I mentioned yesterday
Mom & I went to our first agility trial
The rules for Tea Cup Agility are - First Have Fun
Do the course in the correct order
and under a certain time.
Refusals are not penalized - they just eat up time
You can earn a title in Games and in Standard
at three levels, beginner, intermediate and expert
The Standard courses are easier for beginners,
the game courses are the same for everyone
but the beginners are allowed more time.
Saturday we entered a game called Impossible Tunnels
When we saw the course we thought OMD!!!
This is the course map - it started with two jumps and then we had to do the tunnels in the numbered order
We got through all the tunnels in the correct order
but I stopped after #6 and looked at mom for a treat
she convinced me to keep going.
Then I got to #10 and stopped again.
She really had to do some talking to get me going again
we finished but over the time allowed
Sat. afternoon we tried our first Beginner Standard course
We made it through the course in good time but I went past a jump and then came back over it in the wrong direction
Sunday we did two standard courses
Here are some pictures from our first run
It was cold and very windy
I did some crazy running around in between obstacles
I went over one jump twice
But handled the teeter just fine
can you see me on the dog walk??
And we were done - but - over the designated time
We did one more standard course and I made it through the whole course without a mistake but we used up a lot of time when I did not want to get on the table.
The last run of the trial was a game course called
The Halloween Haunt
It was a challenging course of jumps and tunnels
We made it through with no mistakes
and 2 seconds under time!!!
Our first qualify in agility!
In Tea Cup Agility you don't have to have a qualifying score to get a placement ribbon
Placements are given for each jump height division
I brought home 2 blue ribbons in Games 1, 12 inch
(the green is my qualifying ribbon)
and 3 red ribbons in Standard Beginner 12 inch.
We will have all winter to work on things,
such as mom learning to be a good handler
to better direct me around the course
