This month they sent us two items to review
Today we are gonna review the Benebone Mini!
First Mom wants to tell you that she had purchased a Benebone in the past for Angel Greta.
At that time there was only one size and it proved to be too large for Greta. We were excited to learn that they now make a mini size for dogs under 30 lbs
Benebone's Wishbone Chew isn't your dog's average chew toy. Made with real bacon and food-grade nylon, the ergonomic wishbone will keep your dog chewing and each prong has deep flavor grooves to keep him interested.
As ifthat wasn't enough, with your purchase you'll also be supporting animal welfare nationwide as a portion of all Benebone sales are donated to animal support organizations!
Made with real bacon
Flavor is infused throughout the entire product
No artificial flavor
Great for teething puppies
Made in the USA
Benebone Mini is best suited for dogs under 30 pounds
The smell of bacon was irresistible
Can you see Hazel wanted to smell and it too?
Mom was very pleased with the mini size
The benebone is a harder chew than I normally like
but the flavor kept me chewing all evening long
the unique wishbone shape
makes it easy for me to hold and chew
I have lots of different nylabones and I like different ones at different times - keeps chewing interesting
Mom is very pleased to see that I have added the benebone into my chew "rotation" and it should last longer than my softer nylabones.
I have been experiencing some pain in my neck area
Two rounds of prednisone did not get me better.
It made me feel better but
as soon as we backed the dosage off the pain returned.
Tuesday I had xrays done
and it seems I have a collapsed disc area
The best we can do is to manage the pain as best we can
so for now I will take prednisone and gabapentin.
If I get feeling really good we will reduce the prednisone and see how it goes. My dogtor would like it if I could just take the gabapentin (if it helps me) and only take the prednisone if I have a bad flareup. The goal is to keep me comfortable on the least amount of meds.
The hardest part is keeping me and Mabel from playing too hard. Our favorite thing to do is grab each others necks and shake but Mom & Dad won't let us do that anymore
