Wednesday Words with Bailey

Hello Friends

Bailey here today

Well our week with Mom at home sure did not start out

 like I expected that's for sure

On Monday it looked like this outside

and it was cold and windy with snow flurries

I was just thinking what a great day for a nap

 when suddenly Mom grabbed her purse and me

 and out the door we went.

OH Yea!  One on one fun time with Mom ????

Guess again -  

We went to the dogtor for my yearly check up 

Not my favorite thing to do

Weight - healthy 23.5 lbs, heart - sounds good, 

teeth - good, ears - fine

No shots this time - thank goodness

I was brave and did not whine or cry 
when they stole some of my blood 'cause I'm eleven 

and I take Deramaxx for my aches and pains.

That deserved a treat!

The dogtor called later and told Mom

that my blood was perfect!!!

Great! NOW can I take a nap??

Last week we were honored to get an award

well three actually

We would like to thank them

As part of accepting this award we visited some of

the others that got the award along with us

and said Hi!

Next is 3 things we are thankful for

1. We are thankful that Mom gets a break from work and is going to be home with us all week long.

2. We are thankful that our neighbors were out scooping their dog poop on Sunday!!!!! This has been a real sore spot with Mom that they never clean up after their dog 

so YEA!!!!!

3. We are thankful that through blogging

 we have met wonderful friends,

 not only across the USA, 

but all around the world. 

If we could we would pass this award along to everybody

We are sure glad that it is Friday!

We had so much fun on Easter Sunday 

it plum wore us out

Bailey was so tired he didn't even care

that I got in the bed with him

BOL!

The weather has been rainy here

so we are caught up on our rest

Which is a very good thing cause things

 are gonna get exciting here in blogville!

Now Mom wants to thank everyone for their well wishes

She has been very stressed out at work 

BUTT

she is on vacation now all thru next week

so she can forget about work

and spend all day playing with us!

that will be the best de-stresser

have some adventures while she is off.

Mom has had a rough couple of days

 so we excused her from helping with our blog

Scoop that Poop - Poop Hunt!

Today we are joining our friends

Sugar the Golden Retriever , 

OZ the Terrier 

and My Pawsitively Pets,

for some poop hunting fun!

Although most of our pooping is done in our own yard

 it is still very important to

Mom & Dad clean up our poop every day 

but sometimes it is easy to miss some.

When we are expecting company to visit 

(like yesterday)

it becomes time for

THE POOP HUNT!

Every Easter Mom & Dad fix a big breakfast for the family

and the Grandpeeps have an Easter egg hunt.

With all the little peeps running around it is especially important to have a yard free from dog poop

So Dad goes on the POOP HUNT before they arrive 

to make sure everyone enjoys a "clean yard"

Here is an important reminder of why you should always clean up after your pet, whether you are out for a walk or at home in your own yard.

Easter Fun!

Today we are having fun with 

I know that everybody has been looking for the 

Easter Bunny

And I know that the Easter Bunny brings eggs

and treats and stuffs

Saturday when Mom  & Dad were getting things ready for 

the Grandpeeps Egg Hunt I thought I would see if I could get one of those eggs to tell me where the Easter Bunny was

I batted him all over the place 

but that silly egg wouldn't tell me anything

Butt we got up this morning 

and Holy Bunny Poop 

 look who was in our yard!!!!

 Hey Mr Easter Bunny! 

What ya got in that basket ??

OMD!

 I found an antler in the Easter Bunny's basket

Look! Bailey found a New Purple Man!

just like his old but with no bald spots!!

Alright Bunny, 

ya hiding anything else in them blue pants?

Check him over real good guys!

Hope the Easter Bunny brought you some fun stuff too!

Can you believe it is almost the 

2nd anniversary of my Gotcha Day 4/20.

Mom & Dad drove a long way to get me, 

over 800 miles

This is my very first picture

riding on Mom's lap in the car

I still have that toy, 

he keeps me company in my crate 

when Mom & Dad aren't home

I just love small size balls

I love them soo much that

 I don't get to play with one very often 

cause Mom says I get kinda obsessed and crazy

So imagine my joy when Mom

 got out one of my Kong tennis balls

Catching Some Rays!

Twelve days ago it looked like this at our place

Not anymore!

Yesterday it was sooo nice out.

Don't know if you can tell 

but there is a piece of black shiny board 

against the corner of the garage

Dad put it there last year 

to keep me from trying to eat the paint 

that was peeling on the corner

OMD!

 It makes a great sun reflector 

so I can get started on my summer tan!

Zoom Zoom!

Looks like I have a new nickname!

BOL!

Last month we had a blast celebrating 

Ranger & Stuart's birthdays

at the Dogtona Motor Speedway

the Gretamobile was just too fast for the competition

 and I won the junior division!

My prize package arrived yesterday from Ranger

Look! a cute scottie is on the card

and he sent me a petite (like me) greenie

and this cool bone with flossing strings.
