Bailey here today
Well our week with Mom at home sure did not start out
like I expected that's for sure
On Monday it looked like this outside
and it was cold and windy with snow flurries
I was just thinking what a great day for a nap
when suddenly Mom grabbed her purse and me
and out the door we went.
OH Yea! One on one fun time with Mom ????
Guess again -
We went to the dogtor for my yearly check up
Not my favorite thing to do
Weight - healthy 23.5 lbs, heart - sounds good,
teeth - good, ears - fine
No shots this time - thank goodness
I was brave and did not whine or cry
when they stole some of my blood 'cause I'm eleven

and I take Deramaxx for my aches and pains.
That deserved a treat!

Great! NOW can I take a nap??

ReplyDeleteWow, great job at the dogtor! I'm so impressed that you didn't try to bash everyone or go berzerk like I do. Congrats on the super checkup and you're good for another 100,000 miles. BOL Yucky weather days are the bestest for naps.

Bailey we are so so happy that your appt. went so well! You are very brave not to pee all overs your vet when he takes your blood!!! I hope the weather gets warmer for you so you can enjoy some outside time wif your momma. Great job!

Oh boy, that's not the best idea for a mom-and-me-day, I agree. But isn't that fabulous that you are a perfect dog and you only got good news from the guy who stabs holes in our fur? Have a perfect wednesday, Bailey!

EEEK that's the dreaded car ride followed by a dreaded visit (for me anyway). What a good job you did and those treats must have helped everything.

I don't blame you for not being so happy. My boys HATE going to the vet too. But at least you got a treat out of it, and a clean bill of health!
