Celebrating Greta

Today we want to celebrate our 

Sweet Angel

 Greta

Yesterday would have been her 3rd birthday

We spent some time looking at pictures 

and remembering what a special girl she was

we thought of the things that made Greta who she was

Don't you think those words describe our Greta perfectly!

And then we came across this picture

Can't you see all of those things in her face !?

Now we have to show you something really special 

that was delivered last week

Mom has a friend who does graphic design 

under the name

 Benjamin's Shadow Design

and she creates what she calls

Journey Dog Photo Collages

to celebrate life's journey shared 

with your special companion

and

 she created one for Greta

Our collage is on a 12 X 18 Canvas Print

 and is just beautiful!

Chewy Review - Dino Dental Chew

Time for our February Chewy Review!

Since February is Dental Health Month we had some great choices to help us keep our teeth clean and healthy.

I, Mabel, love, love, LOVE my puppy nylabones 

I can spend hours chewing on them

so when mom saw this cool Dino Nylabone 

she thought I would love it too!

Bailey just wanted to sniff it

It is not soft and chewy like my puppy bones

But I gave it a try

Right now it seems too hard for me.

I chewed a little bit but gave up pretty quick.

The package says for powerful chewers, 

Mom says she should have realized 

it might be to much for me right now

maybe when I get bigger it will be something I will enjoy.

I do love to chew!

Hazel and Oreo, Ready to Fly!

I am so excited for my date today with Oreo

Oreo has his pilots license 

and he is flying out to Idaho in his fancy red plane

I have been in the kitchen cooking all day

I hope he likes what I have prepared

for our Valentine dinner!

Oreo is going to take me sight seeing in his plane

Mr Bailey Heads to the West Coast

Hello Friends!

Today I am so excited to be heading over to the 

California coast to pick up the lovely Miss Dory

my date for the

 Heart 2 Heart Dance

I have never been to the ocean before and there is lots of ocean to see where Dory lives

 She is a beautiful gal and I really wanted to treat Dory 

to something as special and classy as she is.

 I needed a little help getting my surprise set up 

and I knew just who to call

That Bilbo is a great little guy!

ALL ABOARD!!!

I stopped to get some flowers and a box of yummy treats

( I wanted to make a good impression!) 

And I am ready to catch the train to California

It was evening when I arrived 

OMD!

Dory looked so beautiful, it took my breath away

We traveled out to the beach 

where a romantic dinner for two was waiting 

(thanks Bilbo!)

We talked for hours and reminisced about the adventures we shared during the mayoral campaign

The sunset was lovely but not as lovely as my date!

Soon it was time for my next surprise

We got ready to board the train 

where I had reserved a luxury train car 

for our trip to the Mayorz house in Utah

A lady as fine as Dory has to travel in style!

Tomorrow 

Hazel will be getting ready for her date with Oreo

 We hope to see you at the

Grandma Just Has To Brag!

The pugs have been busy getting ready 

for the big dance this weekend 

so Mom is stealing the blog today 

to brag about the grandson

Some of you may remember that our grandson 

is attending college on a baseball scholarship.

He got off to great start this season!

TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho baseball team opened its season 3-1 in St. George, Utah, this past weekend and one of the reasons was sophomore Bodie Cooper who was named Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
The catcher/DH was on fire at the plate. Cooper finished the weekend hitting .545. He went 6-for-11 at the plate with six runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI. One of his home runs was a grand slam.  His slugging percentage was 1.273.

How Fast Things Change

Can you believe that I have been at the PugRanch 

almost 5 weeks!!!!

I have grown just a little

Look !

On the left is one of my first pictures at the Ranch

the picture on the right is exactly 4 weeks later !!!!

I am not the only thing that has changed some

I think I showed you my safe pen area

(mom thought I was too little to start right out in the crate when they are not home)

My crate was in there 

along with some pee pads and room to play

All was good - 

I slept in my crate, played with my toys 

and used the pee pads when I needed to go potty

Then one day last week Dad came home to this

I decided to play with my pee pads 

and

 pooped on the floor!

Ooops ! Big Mistake!

Mom & Dad decided it was time 

for the safe pen and pee pads to go. 

They made some changes over the weekend 

and on Saturday

 I went in my crate when they left for a couple of hours

I handled it OK -  So now -  

when Mom leaves for work I go in my crate with my toys. 

 When Dad comes home for lunch 

he lets us all outside for a potty break and play time,

then I go back in my crate till Dad gets home from work. 

(Dad leaves before mom and gets home before mom)

And I am proud to report I have not messed in my crate!

but I do a beeline out the door 

when Dad lets me out to go potty!

It's Monday!

Hi Friends!

Mom wants me to apologize 

for our lack of posting and commenting last week. 

It seems she is very busy at work 

and 

she says that I keep her very busy at home,

something about

a very playful puppy and house training

But things are going well with my 

new brother & sister
