This month Chewy was kind enough to send us

two items to review

We liked the Ideal Balance treats we reviewed in May

so we thought we would try the 

Ideal Balance Breakfast Medley treats

We have mom trained to give us treats in the morning 

while she is eating breakfast

Napping for Bailey Day

Last week our furiend

 Bailey at Sheltie Times

made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge

He was diagnosed with cancer last year 

and fought so hard to stay with his family

But his body grew weary and it was time to say goodbye

Today we are joining our host 

Christmas at Paw Province

with a special 

Nap for Bailey Day

Well if there is one thing us pugs do well 

besides eat

is nap!

Mr Bailey hopes that if he takes up enough room,

 Hazel will get up and move

A little overflow here! 

Good thing the Hazel's hedgehog is available as a pillow!

On nice days napping out on the deck is great

And there is nothing sweeter than sister snuggle naps

We are sending our love and hugs

to Bailey's family

The Flats Come Home and Gifts

Has it been a week already 

since Dory and Arty were here at the PugRanch?!

Mr Bailey has had a little extra spring in his step

 and a smile on his face since meeting Dory in the furs!

Dory and Arty brought The Flats home

 I could smell all the loving touches from our friends

And they brought us some neat gifts 

from their home state of California

Next spring we can plant some California wildflowers!!!

Look! A Giant Redwood Start - just like Frankie & Ernie's

We helped mom plant it in a pot

It can grow to be 300 feet tall!!

My First Rally Trial

Last Saturday I went to my very first Rally Obedience Trial

It was a 4 day dog show, but we only entered on Saturday

Mom just wanted me to get some experience in the ring

I was a bit nervous 

but we managed to get a qualifying score and third place!

I LOVE these new Zukes Tiny Treats

Because we can go through a lot of treats when training for Rally and Obedience, I look for treats that are small and easily consumed. These new Zukes Tiny Treats are smaller and softer than the Zukes Mini Treats. I think these Tiny Treats would stay somewhat soft even when left out as opposed to the Mini's that can turn to teeny hocky pucks when they dry out. And at less than 1.5 calories per treat, we can have a good training session without worrying.

I have already added a bag to our next Chewy Auto Ship order. They will be the perfect training treat and great way to reward Mabel for a job well done.

Friday was such an exciting day

We watched and waited for Dory & Arty to arrive

Feeling Spunky!

Because of the special visitors that are coming today

we all had to have a bath

Now I, Bailey, do not like to have a bath

I will run and hide if I can

But there is something about getting a bath

that gets an old guy feeling a little spunky!
