 I am here with Arty at Blogville City Hall to fill you in on a couple of things happening around Blogville in the next couple of weeks!!

On Monday January 30th be sure  to stop by Dory's Backyard  for the unveiling of the Portrait Hall on the new Blogville Administration Page! Join us in paying tribute to Mayor Emeritis Frankie Furter, Madison D. Cat and Murphy and Stanley with a special speech by Chris and Oreo to honor former Mayoral Candy Date Lexi.

Purrs for Jamison

Today we are joining our friends in Blogville 

to honor Jamison

Jamison, brother of Noodle of Noodle4President

was critically injured on 12/26. He fought so hard to stay with the family who loved him so much 

but the injuries were too severe and he made his journey

 to the Rainbow Bridge on 1/09. 

Although we did not know Jamison well, 

we do know how much he was loved and how his family did everything they could to try to save him.

Jamison's memory will live forever 

in the hearts of all the knew and loved him.

Nothing Going on Here

We were not rough housing Mom, honest!

It is TOO DANG COLD!

OMD! 

We are already setting records for snowfall

We got 15 inches over Christmas 

and another 8 inches this week

Since Nov 28 our area has received 40 inches of snow!!

And now we have extreme cold temperatures

This morning it was -13 degrees 

(when mom got to her work it was -24!)

Makes it very hard for us pugs to get outside to potty

Mom and Dad went shopping and came home 

with these socks with rubberized bottoms

They said they keep feet dry and help with traction

Bailey and I tried them on - Hazel refused to wear hers

she got them off in about 2 seconds!

Unfortunately these socks had NO traction on the icy snow

Bailey & I could hardly keep on our feet. 

At $20 a set they went back to the store. 

Hazel & I are pretty good about going out and getting the job done quickly. But Mr Bailey is struggling a bit so we have had a couple of accidents in the house. Oh Well.

One more subzero night and it should start to warm up

My Gotcha Day

Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of my Gotcha day!

Mom & Dad drove all the way over to Oregon to get me and bring me home to the PugRanch

This was my first official photo

Inauguration Day Reception on the Lawn

The inauguration ceremony is over.

The guests are invited to a 

reception on the City Hall Lawn.

Arty and Mabel took a moment to let it sink in

while they waited for guests to gather on the City Hall lawn

Outgoing Mayorz, Murphy & Stanley were the first to arrive

Ruby, Jessie and former Mayoress Madi 

had some words of support for Mabel

The Inaugural Party has made their way 

to the reception area with their dates

Murphy & Ruby, Stanley with Jessie and her brother Casey, Frankie & Abby along with Ernie and Roxy. Madi is visiting with Hazel & Oreo while Princess Leah and Chester find a spot. Christmas and Noodles look great and Jakey is sticking close to newly retired Dory and Mr Bailey

Soon the City Hall Lawn was filled with Blogville friends
