August Chewy Review

It is time for our Chewy Review!

Butt
before we tell you about our review item we want to show you how totally pawesome Chewy is to do business with

Mom placed an order for some random supplies
two of them were liquid items
 - Salmon Oil and Nature's Miracle

Mom was very impressed with how they were packed
Chewy taped them to keep them from leaking
and placed them in a zip lock bag

Chewy is Pawsome!

A few days after that package arrived

Another one arrived at our door

What do you think is in this box Mabel?

Not sure, Hazel, but I smell something good!

Since I love to chew, Mom thought we would try these
Beef Tendon Chews from Blue Wilderness
Made in the USA and one ingredient
Beef Tendons!

Chew, chew, chew

Yum yum yum!

I did think the chew was very tasty
but Mom was disappointed

You see where the bag says Long-Lasting Chew ?

Well in about 30 minutes I had half of it gone
and then Mom took it away from me, she said it would be too much for me to eat the whole thing in one chewing

So although I thought the beef tendon was very tasty
Mom was not pleased it did not last long
She said we will not be ordering more of these - bummer!

We do appreciate our good friends at Chewy.com
for letting us try these chews

disclaimer - we were not compensated for this post. Chewy.com provided us with this bag of Blue Wilderness Beef Tendons free of charge in exchange for our honest opinion.

  3. they do take excellent care when packaging - although sometimes they use huge boxes to ship little things but who cares when everything always tastes so good :) :)

  8. Long lasting is a matter of interpretation. If your Mom was on a plane and the plane went into a nose dive then she would say it was a really long time. But if she gives you a long lasting chew and it only lasts two minutes she won't be happy Solution: Only give you the chew if you are in a plane that is in a nose dive.

Hmmmm if that had lasted 30 minus with angel Jade, both she and I would have been very happy! I guess it has to be measured about what normally lasts well with you!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  10. Chewy rules!!!!
We had the same experience with beef tendons - so far all of the brands tested. Gone in 60 seconds (or thereabouts). Mommy said there was little to NO chewing done there. So like Bully Sticks, we are now banned from further tendons.
Great review . . . you said exactly what we needed to know.

    1. Thanks! Mom says there is a difference betwen a "chew treat" and a long lasting chew to satisfy my chew cravings. In addtition to my nylabones, she looks for something I can chew for a while in the evening, and last for several evenings.

  11. Mum really likes ordering from Chewy (for us and when she has to send as a pressie). The site is very easy to navigate and if you have a question, their online live chat is very easy and quick, and they deliver really fast.

  13. We always appreciate an honest review too. We don't usually get to have chews like that because Mom worries we will swallow them after we get them down a bit. There are so many other good treats out there that we don't complain (too much).

Chewy is a pawesome company - very considerate and efficient along with a whole long list of other fantastic adjectives.

  15. We have never met a chew that could be considered long-lasting. Mom's best bet is a cow hoof. She lets us chew on them for a bit and then puts them away.

  16. I love love love Chewy. They just magically send me treats right when I need them. I don't get it but I love it. I am sorry you won't get the chews anymore, but I hope you get to nom on the ones you got already.

  20. that's great that the bottles are specially packed, so you never have a mess in your box, no matter what the postman did with your parcel :o) You are pawsome chewers, that's not bad what you did with that longlasting chew within 30 minutes :o)

  21. Our Lady has wondered in the past what does "long lasting" mean? She says many of the things that say that, don't last long here!

  22. Those wouldn't last long here either! Thank you for your kind comment for Isadora, She is doing better now and has started eating much to everyone's relief. :)
