January Chewy Review Hop

It is Chewy Review time!!
And new this month!

There will be a Chewy blog hop
the 3rd Tuesday of each month

You can post your review any day of the month
you want  - just remember to connect your review to the hop on the 3rd Tuesday

This month we received
Fromm Oven Baked Parmesan Cheese Treats

Ingredients

Fresh Wisconsin Parmesan cheese, pea flour, potato flour, tapioca, whole peas, chicken fat, tomato pomace, fresh cranberries, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, split peas, green beans, green bell peppers, celery, beets, oregano, parsley, lettuce, watercress, spinach.

These were bigger than we expected
(that is a dime next to it)
and are hard and crunchy

Mom managed to break one up into smaller pieces
but some were too hard to break easily

We did notice the WONDERFUL smell
even Mom thought they smelled good!

Yummy!

Eye popping yummy!

Yep! Three Yummies!!!

So here is our honest verdict

Although these treats smelled delicious
and we thought they were yummy
they are not great treats for us

We do not do hard crunchy treats very well
especially Bailey & Hazel
Mom would have to break them up
and some of them were too hard
We DO think that bigger dogs would really like these

We are going to pass these on to our cousin Tucker
he really likes biscuits!

Thank you Chewy for always having the best prices, wonderful customer service and fast shipping!
And thanks to Miss Sydney
for always giving us great items to review

disclaimer - as part of the Chewy blogger Review program we were provided one bag of Fromm dog treats free of charge in exchange for our honest review

  4. Treats to hard, why when that happens Lee has a rubber mallet and wangs that treat into dust then she puts it in my bowl. I
have had tapioca why tapioca pudding is just the bestest until it gets in you whiskers but you don't have to worry about that you have nice short furs.
    Thanks for being a friend

  8. Now SEE???? THIS is just EXACTLY WHY we LOVE CHEWY.COM so much... Our FURENDS that we KNOW and LOVE and TOTALLY TRUST... can try different thingys... and give us FAIR and HONEST reviews... so we don't waste our Green Papers or melt our FLEASA Cards on stuffs that would not do well fur US... THANK YOU fur being so HONEST..
BUTT, that being said.... let US tell you how our Mom deals with this TOO hard thingy.... ERNIE the ENORMOUS who has Jaws Of Deading... can eat ANYTHINGY... I (Frankie the Finicky) pawfer my Snacks to be a bit Softer than some are.... SO... MOM puts them in Water fur about 87 seconds... and they are Grrreat then. We BOTH like them Dunked.
WE have never had the Parmesan Cheese Flavored Snacks from Fromm... butt we DO love some of that sprinkled over our kibble, now and then. SOOOOOoooooo we are sure that THESE would be Delicious and that we WOULD Enjoy them... once they have been Water Boarded fur 87 seconds...
Sw.Wm. also had a good idea.... WHOMP EM with a Hammer... they would taste the same... and be just as good fur you.
