Mr Bailey is Running Free

Mr Bailey grew so weary from his struggles.
The last few weeks we could tell he was dreaming of those days when he could run in the yard as his legs moved
and he made little yips as he was sleeping.

Yesterday afternoon we held him and loved him
and helped him on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge

No more struggles dear Bailey Man -
now you are running free with Greta,
your sweetheart Dory,
and all your friends at the Bridge

We love you forever Buddy,

Mom, Dad
Hazel & Mabel

  8. Oh so sorry for your loss - many of us here in Blogville know how your hearts must be breaking. I pray that soon all of the happy memories of your sweet Mr. Bailey will come to you easier then the heartache of loss.

Dear Mr. Bailey - I know you are busy up there at the Rainbow Bridge - so much to see and do - so many former Blogville furrends to meet up with and so much fun to have. Say hi to Angel Shiloh - he will be easy to find, just listen for his deep Beagle aroooos. Run and play like the puppy you once were - you will be greatly missed.

  29. Oh no! We're so sad for you to lose good old Mr. Bailey! Sending lots of hugs and POTP to you all! But we are well familiar with that "look" when an old doggie tells you the time has come. You just know it, and it breaks your heart, but you have to do the right thing. I'm sure he's all happy and pain free now. I hope he says hi to Joey dog, Miss Ginger and Old Charisma.

Bailey ~ May the blessing of the rain be on you—the soft sweet rain.
May it fall upon your spirit
so that all the little flowers may spring up,
and shed their sweetness on the air.
May the blessing of the great rains be on you,
may they beat upon your spirit
and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there many a shining pool
where the blue of heaven shines,
    and sometimes a star.
I will look for your star Bailey my friend.
    Sweet William The Scot
