Learning Weave Poles

Of all the agility obstacles

Weave poles can be the hardest to learn
because it is not something we dogs do naturally
like jumping and running.

We start by having the poles spaced apart
so we can get used to running between them.
Slowly we move the poles in
and eventually they will be in a straight line.

This was a few weeks ago
you can watch me going through the poles

Please ignore the end of the video -
Dad was having trouble turning the camera off BOL!

Since then the poles have been moved closer and Mom hopes that soon we will be doing straight line weaves!

  17. Fun! I had never thought about that before - that that's how you teach a dog to run those. Interesting - and good exercise!
