The Unforgettable Pugnacious P

Today we would like to honor a very special little pug,

Angel Payton

03/21/2003 - 03/30/2012

Today would have been her 10th birthday.

Payton's blog Pugnacious P

was one of the first blogs we found and
we instantly fell in love with this beautiful,
courageous little pug and her wonderful family.
Their love and devotion were an inspiration.

If you knew Payton, you know she beat the odds,
living to the age of nine, six years after being
diagnosed with Pug Dog Encephalitis.

Her blog,
Pugnacious P , remains

not only as a resource for people
looking for information about PDE,
but a testament to the wonderful life she lived
with a family that loved her dearly.

Payton's Mom, Christy, has been sharing her favorite memories of Payton on her new blog

Christy & Tim,
we are thinking of you today
and sending lots of love and hugs your way.

Payton,
we will always remember you.

  4. What a wonderful tribute, thank you for doing this. I read Christy's post today and cried, but Miss P and my Nicki are celebrating together, being the fun, sweet girls that they are.
