The Little Yard got Bigger!

A while back we told you about how we have two yards.

 Our "little yard" for our everyday use

 and once in awhile we get to go for a run in

The Big Yard

 If you did not see that post you can

and see me catching some serious air.

But anyways

this is about the little yard

I know most of you have seen our swing set

 Well it does not get used much anymore

except as a peeing post for Bailey

and Dad was tired of mowing around it

so some guys showed up

 and took the swing set apart

Bailey can't believe it is gone

I guess I will have to pee on this tree instead

Dad filled in the hole with sod

Wow!

 Now the little yard looks huge!

Camping Breakfast

 

After the popcorn snack 

it was time for bed 

 

We had checked out the bed earlier

and picked out our spots 

 

Hey Mom & Dad

Where are you gonna sleep?

 

 

  We were up bright and early the next morning

 and went for our potty walk

 

 

Dad needed a cup of coffee

 

 

before cooking breakfast

Hurry Dad we are starving!!!

 

Nothing like the fresh mountain air

 to give you a good appetite 

 

 

 

Hey Dad! your not gonna eat

that last piece of bacon

are ya??? 

 

 

Before we knew it 

 

 It was time to head home

 

Camping was a lot fun!!

 

I hope we get to do again real soon

Campin' Snack!

 

 Many of you wanted to know if we got to

have marshmallows while we were camping

 

The answer is no

 

with all the hot hot weather lately

we did not have a campfire to roast marshmallows

we did have something just as good

 

 

That's right!

Wild Visitors!! OH MY!

 

Late in the afternoon of our camping trip

we could sense something approaching

 

 

We did not know what it was

 

just that it was BIG

 

So we did what any brave doggies would do

 

 

We barked at the intruder

 

 

but it was not impressed

 

and more big animals joined him!

 

What are they??

 

 

Lions?

 

 

or

 

 

Tigers??

 

 

 

or  

 

 

 

COWS ! 

 

OH MY!

 

A whole family of cows

 

  do you see the little cows?

 

 

They totally ignored us and

slowly moved on.

 

 

 

Some of you wanted to know if

we got to have marshmallows or

some kind of yummy camping snack

A Camping We Will Go!

 

I promised to tell you about our camping adventure

 

It was short (one night) but fun

Mom and Dad just wanted to get out of town

and it was my first time camping.

I was soo excited to go

 

 

Bailey & Hazel were happy to be going too!

I was not too impressed with the boundaries

 

 

 

OK Mom!!

Camp is set up, what's for lunch??

 

We had some light rain and

thunder bumpers in the afternoon

so we stayed under the awning with Mom.

 

 

the clouds and rain helped it stay cooler

 so we got to go for an adventure walk

we found the creek

 

It looked so inviting

 

 

I really wanted to get in it

 

Then we headed back to camp

 

 

To relax and wait for dinner!!
