Be a Responsible Dog Owner

 Scoop that Poop!!

Today we are participating in
Scoop that Poop
Blog Hop
hosted by Sugar and Gizmo

We all know that sharing your life with a dog
comes with responsibilities
and one of those responsibilities
is cleaning up your dogs waste

Clean up starts at home cause we like to
have a clean yard to play in
and we don't want company that visits
to worry about what they might step in

This is what Mom & Dad call
The Poopy Bucket and Shovel

Usually twice a day Mom or Dad scoop our poop
and put in the poopy bucket

When we are away from home
it is still Mom & Dad's job to clean up after us

One Dog Makes A Difference
is where I take training classes

and this is my tote bag we take with us

It has all the stuff we take to class

One of the most important items,
besides water and collars and leashes,
is the poop bag dispenser
so Mom can clean up after me

Mom even keeps a poop bag in her purse
just for one of those emergency times

or she sticks some in her pocket
when we are out for a walk

so we can leave the area
as clean as we found it.

  1. I couldn't agree more, PugRanch! Nothing worse than having to worry about we're your walking (or having our four-legged furiends eating it!!).

  6. We have nifty little dispensers that clip on our leashes. Since Momma would never have us out unleashed, she always has bags ready! She also has a roll in the car for when she's with rescue dogs.

  7. Ma has a dispenser on my leash and she has another that has a carabiner clip which can clip to a belt buckle, or backpack, or...anywhere I guess! Great post, pals! So glad your yard is always clean!

  8. Hi Idaho Pug Ranch pugs. . . This is one of my Mommys' pet peeves. At one time we not that long ago, we had a person in our neighborhood who never picked up after her dog. It was a big dog, too, with mega-poops. Eventually it stopped happening - she thinks because the probable perp crossed the Rainbow Bridge (he was old and his owner is elderly). She noticed that in the meantime people up and down the street stated putting out "Pick Up Your Poop" signs.

  9. We have a poop bag dispenser right on our walkin strings... and our mom does Poop Patrol every day on our hill.

Pickin up the Poops is the RIGHT thingy to do.

  11. We have allways a poop bag on board too. (it's a large one LOL) In my village we have a poop-service who cleans the street, but not all villages have such a thingy. Have a great Monday!

  12. I like that you reminded everyone the importance of cleaning up at home, pugs! We have a friend who says her neighbor never cleans up the yard. She says it smells terrible and, worst of all, the yard service blows it into the street when they come. I'm glad this is in a different neighborhood than were we live!

  13. I once visited someone who didn't mow their grass AND left dog poop all over the yard. Walking in the back yard was not discouraged so I learned the hard way that there were poo bombs hiding in the grass :/

  17. You pugs have definitely earned your "Repsonsible Pooper" badges today...You're doing it all the right way and setting a fine example...I always wonder about folks who don't even clean up their own yards...how yucky is that to go outside and step in poop...Thanks so much for joining our Scoop That Poop hop today!

  18. It's so RUDE when people don't clean up. Mama is always finding bags in the washer 'cause she sticks some in her pocket when we go out.

  20. Great blog hop! I can't stand when people don't clean their dog's poop. Here in the city where I live there is poop everrrrywhere in parks, on the sidewalks. Everytime I come home with Joker from the park I'm allways finding myself having poop all over my shoes! I just detest irresponsible dog owners.

  21. BOL! Ma has poopie bags in her purse too!! I thinks that's how you can tell a doggie person...whether they have poopie bags or not!! BOL
Ma always picks up my poop and keeps it fresh in a bag! I'm not sure why she wants it...butts who am I to argue?!
