Greta Update

Dear friends

I talked to our vet a short time ago (11 am MST) and Greta is holding her own and appears to be stabilizing.  She is still not alert but her heart is good, her glucose level has stabilized. Her temp was up again this morning but they got it back down. She is urinating and the blood is now a darker color, indicating the intenstines are starting to heal.  We have two vets caring for her now and they are going to do all they can for her.

    Coooooommmmmeeeee on Greta!!! I remember that little puppy who hid in the cabinet and hers momma couldn't find her, the little stinker, we are so happy you are starting to come back to all of us, we love you greta....squeezy hugs!

    I've been away from Blogville for the past week, so I wasn't even aware of everything going on with poor Greta. I'm so sorry this happened. I'll keep y'all in my prayers and keep my fingers crossed for a full recovery. In the meantime, I'll try to keep checking for updates.
