Today we are remembering

 Hazel's daddy

Buzz

who passed away last week

Buzz with Brutus (Hazel's brother)

At 14 yrs old Buzz had been in failing health

Last week he deteriorated quickly.

 By Wednesday he was no longer eating or drinking.

Thursday morning Buzz was released from his pain and joined his sweetheart Sophia at the Rainbow Bridge.

Most of you know that Buzz and Sophia

 lived with Mom's human daughter.

She adopted/rescued the sweet pair in 2004 when their original owners no longer wanted them inside their home.

They were living in an outdoor kennel, 

filthy and smelly and after a few weeks 

it became obvious that Sofie was pregnant

The thing we will remember most about Buzz 

is what a wonderful daddy he was

He watched, he worried, 

He loved his babies

Mom went to visit when the pups were 4 weeks old 

and witnessed firsthand Buzz's devotion to his familyl 

Little Blondie went to live with a good friend 

and of course you know that Hazel came to live with us

Brutus stayed with his mom and dad 
and they made quite the trio 

You would always see the three of them 

piled in the chair together

 Buzz and Brutus were as close as a father and son could be

and even more so after Sofie died suddenly in 2011.

 It was so much fun to have a family reunion

there was no pug sitter when the peeps came for a visit

And we even got to go visit at their house last summer

Now brother Brutus is sad and confused

He has never been without his Dad

and could use some prayers

Rest easy now Buzz 

Thank you for being the best Daddy

We will see you in Hazel's smile

A Rare Sight

to our buddy Sarge who is 10 yrs old today!

Kitchen Spruce Up!

A few weekends ago one of the sons came over 

to help Mom & Dad with a project. 

Mom wanted to spruce the kitchen up a little bit 

with some new tile

This is before but after Dad had

 already taken the old back splash off

There is a rise behind the kitchen sink

Dad had to replace one piece of sheetrock

One of the granddaughters was a great helper

Ta Da!  

The finished tile!

Mom says it dresses up the kitchen

And looks great with her puggy paper towel holder

And the new tile behind the sink really shows off

 her  pug cookie jar,

 pug candy dish,

pug piggy bank,

pug mug

 and pug salt and pepper shakers! 

Sheeesh!  do ya think the lady like pugs?

Top O' the Morning to ya on this St Patricks Day

Yes by golly by goshen,

We won the Pot O' Gold

Solid Gold that is!

Several weeks ago our furiends 

Lily and Edward

 partnered up with Solid Gold pet food for a giveaway

and we were the lucky dog winners! 

We won a large bag of Solid Gold food 

in our choice of flavor

When the bag arrived Mom had just opened a bag of food so she said we had to wait till we finished that to try this

Hello Furiends!!!

Today I want to show you how fast I can run

butt before I do that 

we have good news

Our grandma was released from the hospital on Friday

Thank you for all the POTP it sure did help 

Now some of you have noticed 

that I have kinda long legs for a pug

Do you know what is really neat about having long legs?

I can run really fast!

Just a Quick Note

Hello Furiends

Just wanted to let you know if we are not around much - 

our Grandma (Dad's mom) has been in the hospital with pneumonia since Friday. 

Good news is she is slowly improving and is no longer in ICU

But Mom & Dad have been spending lots of time at the hospital and that does not leave much time to help us with the blog right now. We are still trying to keep up with what is going on but we might be kinda quiet for a bit.
