Kitchen Spruce Up!


A few weekends ago one of the sons came over 
to help Mom & Dad with a project. 
Mom wanted to spruce the kitchen up a little bit 
with some new tile


This is before but after Dad had
 already taken the old back splash off


There is a rise behind the kitchen sink


Dad had to replace one piece of sheetrock


One of the granddaughters was a great helper


Ta Da!  



The finished tile!



Mom says it dresses up the kitchen



And looks great with her puggy paper towel holder



And the new tile behind the sink really shows off


 her  pug cookie jar,
 pug candy dish,
pug piggy bank,
pug mug
 and pug salt and pepper shakers! 

Sheeesh!  do ya think the lady like pugs?
BOL!

    very nice my dream is a 1950s ranch house but it will alas always be a dream as there are none in the nyc area that we could ever dream of affording and we need to stay here for work

    We still have the kitchen counter that came with the house and it's over 30 years old! The reason for that is because Mom and Dad can never agree on what type to replace it with. So it just stays the same forever!

    Love the new tiles and all those plugs. Why you could have every appliance running at the same time. Wish we had someone to come over to our house that was a handy man. We always have to hire someone and they end up being a Dingus. A dingus is NOT a stupid person, they just do stupid THINGS. Yep that is who we hire.
