Mom's Big Red Finger!

when Mom left Friday morning

her finger looked like this

when she came home a few hours later

It looked like this!

The big red bandage has to stay on till Wednesday

then she can just wear a bandaid

but she has to keep it dry 

until the stitches come out on the 30th

So it looks like Dad will be doing the dishes

 for a couple of weeks!

Fingers and Flowers

Hi Friends

We probably won't be around much today because

Mom is having minor surgery on her finger

Can you see how her finger has kind of a bulge?

She has some kind of cyst that has been growing for about a year now and the doctor is going to remove it today

We are sure we will be having to play nursemaid 

when she gets home this afternoon

AND

⇩⇩⇩

 We have been waiting and waiting for our mums to bloom so we could show them on Dory's Flower Friday. 

It seems they take longer every year.

Finally they bloomed at the end of October

And there were so many blooms 

they weighted the plant down!

We used to have other colors but over the years 

only the two pink ones are still here

We like to think that Angel Greta watches over these

Another Birthday Monkey!

Today I am Two!!!

That's right!

Today I am two years old!

There was so much excitement last week

We started the week with Hazel's birthday

and look!

Christmas sent a birthday card to Hazel and Me!

Christmas and his mom are great!

 then we had the Blogville Election

Did you see the pawsome thing that Arty did for me while we were waiting for the election results?

He threw an early birthday pawty for me!!!

And that is not all

 that Arty gave me for my birthday

He knows how I love monkeys!

I couldn't wait to play with him!

There was also some yummy roasted chicken treats 

and they are soft treats - just the way I like them

The 2017 Blogville Mayor!

I am sooo excited !!!

After months of fun campaigning 

the Blogville election was held last Tuesday

 and we found out that

Arty 

will be the new 

Mayor of Blogville!

And I am a pleased pug 

to be by his side as Vice Mayor

Arty is getting ready to give his acceptance speech

and make some impawtent announcements

Thank You Blogville!

Arty and I are so very honored to be chosen as the next
 Mayor and Vice Mayor of Blogville! 

We bet the election was so close 
the votes had to be counted and recounted !

Christmas and Oreo were such worthy and friendly Candy Dates and we were so very lucky to spend so much time getting to know them better during the campaign. 

Arty and I have so many people to thank 
and we would like to make a few announcements 
about the 2017 Administration
so...

Arty will be making a formal acceptance speech 
on Sunday 
along with some very important 
Blogville Announcements!!

It was a long night!

It's Election Day!

Blogville!

It is time to vote for your new Mayor!

Arty & I did not waste any time

 heading to the polls to cast our vote

After marking our ballots 

we found a nice place to try to relax 

after all the months of campaigning and hard work

 now we can only wait to find out who will be 

the new Mayor of Blogville

We ordered some food 

but this waiting is making me so nervous Arty 

I don't know if I can eat! 

Oh wait - I'm a pug! I always want to eat !

BOL!

Dory and Bailey came to spend some time with us

 till it got late and past their bedtime

(those elders need their rest!)

No sleeping for us so we made a trip to the video mart

Well it looks like we have enough movies to keep us entertained for a while!
