Friends,
we apologize for not being around much lately
Mom is on her final countdown to retirement
After 44 1/2 years at the same employer she will be hanging it up at the end of this month!
In addition to fighting a winter cold,
she now has a new trainee with her full time.
We are trying to visit everybody
but may not comment everyday.
We are excited that very soon
Mom will be home with us every day!

ReplyDeleteWe totally understand! It's VERY exciting that you'll have your mom all to yourselves! We hope she can shake her cold - our mom brought one home from when she was on jury duty and shared it with our dad and now all they can think about is how nice it would be to be able to breathe through their noses. Cam and I are doing our best to take care of them.
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,

Crikey ..... how good is that.? You are going to be kept awful busy keeping her occupied, aye?? After all that time working she is going to be mighty bored being home all the time. Make sure you have plenty of jobs for her to do. Mum's VERY impressed that your Mom was all that time at the one place. They sure will miss her, aye?? She must have been like a bit of the furniture.
