We have mentioned in the past
that Hazel can be picky when it comes to eating her food
Mom tried all different canned foods and wet foods
to add to her kibble
Hazel might like something for a couple of days
but then back to putting her nose in the air
Well a couple of months ago
Mom finally found a food that Hazel really likes!
Fresh Pet Select Roasted Chicken
She gets it half and half with kibble
She still has to take a minute to take in the aroma
(ha ha ha, mom is laughing cause she realized you can hear me gobbling up my food! I don't mess around!)
(ha ha ha, mom is laughing cause she realized you can hear me gobbling up my food! I don't mess around!)
but no more begging her to eat!
Don't forget to share what you did this summer!

ReplyDeleteWe all have our likes and dislikes, eh Hazel?! Glad this was to taste... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
how great that your mom found the food you like... I wish we would be allowed in every store so we could pick our own food... problem solved LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Hazel my little huggy puggy I just loved watching you eat and savor every morsel. I think you were even doing a pug two step while eating too.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
That must REALLY be good stuffs, Hazel! I love watching you enjoying your meal!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with being a bit selective Miss Hazel. We finally found the magic formula for Millie too but it took a couple of years to get her to eat every meal with gusto.
ReplyDeleteSounds like our house...Jakey is becoming very picky in his senior years...and Mama says she may have to give this a try. Not me though, I love all foodies equally! I just loved listening to your gobbles Mabel!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Arty
I'm glad you found something she likes. Ruby is just the opposite. She will eat anything and everything!
ReplyDeleteThat looks yummy, Hazel!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
You certainly have good manners. Our noses go in and don't come out until all the food and residue is gone! Glad you found a great topper.
ReplyDeleteGlad Hazel found something she liked. Unlike you Mabel with your healthy appetite BOL!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
It is great that you found your perfect food.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that you found a food that you love, Hazel. Eating is very important. Pierre doesn't like kibble but has to eat it when he goes to the pet resort. They fix it up with some canned food.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you found something to tempt you (but trust me, stay out of the raisin biscuits if you don't want your Mom freaking out on you). Abby Lab
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when you hit upon that perfect food? Mom had to do a lot of shopping around to find something that would appeal to Phantom. We think Fresh Pet may have been something he tried and liked.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and I Have a Name Now - I'll tell you tomorrow:)
Roast chicken!! Everybody likes that...nom nom!!
ReplyDeleteAlways exciting to figure out what they want. Nice. Doesn't everyone like roasted chicken? 🐓
ReplyDeleteWe are super picky also. Mom cooks us a package of livers and gizzards and cuts them up for us in our dry food along with the liquid they cooked in. A package lasts us about a week. Hers loves us. Stella Rose
ReplyDeletehello hazel its dennis the vizsla dog hay mmmm yummm taysts like chikkin!!! ok bye
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found some food that Hazel likes! I have to say I am definitely NOT a picky eater. In the time it took for Hazel to sniff her food, I would have eaten two bowl-fulls. :)

Sid.
