It was nice and chewy

and even though it was a large size

It only took me a few minutes...

to have it half gone!

Now I thought it was delicious

but Mom was hoping that it would last longer

If we were to get them again we would get a smaller size. Mom got the large thinking I would get some chewing time out of it, but it is too big for me to eat all at once.

Remembering Sarge

Last week we were so sad to hear that Sarge made his unexpected journey to the Rainbow Bridge

Sarge was one of our earliest blogger furiends 

Winter 2013 our Angel Greta entered

 her very first Blogville event

A Blogville Sled Day hosted by Sarge 

and they became great friends

Sarge was not only Blogville's Top Cop

he was also one of Blogville's most eligible bachelors

and he loved to date the ladies 

while being the pawfect gentleman

Angel Greta's very first date was with Sarge

They had the most wonderful time

 Sarge always held a very special place in Greta's heart

We are sure she was one of the first to greet him 

at the bridge

The next year it was Hazel that won the privilege 

of a St. Patrick's Day date with Sarge.

Sarge was always up for a good time 

Whether it was sliding in the pumpkin guts 

Or celebrating New Years

It was always a fun time with Sarge 

Sure gonna miss you furiend

Winter is Back

After several weeks of unusually mild (for Idaho) weather,

winter decided to come back

Can you see me standing against the fence?

I was saying hello to the neighbor dog

We did not get as much snow as they predicted

 but it is going to get cold

only in the 20's for the high 

and maybe more snow by the end of the week.

My Valentine Gifts from Arty!

A package came in the mail 

from my special and oh so handsome guy Arty

I couldn't wait to see what was in the pretty bag

A new squeaky toy!!!

Arty knows what I like!

There was some treats and a t-shirt and 

OMD! 

a sweet card with a picture of my guy 

that made my heart go all a flutter

I was so excited to play with the toy 

that Dad had to help me stay for a picture

Thank you so much Arty! 

You are the bestest guy a girl could have

Flower Friday Peas!

It is time for

With Miss Rosy!

Hazel & I were out in the yard this morning

and remembering last winter when we had so much snow

 we did not know what to do with it all

 As you can see we have no snow now

 and we haven't had any for a while

The temps have been fairly mild for February - 

in the 40's and 50's

The grass is still mostly brown

But wait!

What is that sprouting up amongst the leaves??

It's a volunteer pea plant from last years garden!!

How crazy is that??

For our second Chewy review item we chose

But it is packed with the freeze dried chicken

mmmmmmm they smell pretty good!

The pieces of chicken are different sizes 

and they break very easily

Enough talk Mom! Let me try one!

So - Hazel & I both like these treats 

and Hazel likes some crumbled on top of her dinner 

the treats do crumble easily - 

there is some powder in the jar.

The jar does seem kind of small for the price of $7.79

but then - it is freeze dried chicken
