It is time for
Hazel & I were out in the yard this morning
and remembering last winter when we had so much snow
we did not know what to do with it all
As you can see we have no snow now
and we haven't had any for a while
The temps have been fairly mild for February -
in the 40's and 50's
The grass is still mostly brown
But wait!
What is that sprouting up amongst the leaves??
It's a volunteer pea plant from last years garden!!
How crazy is that??
We are the PugRanch Kids
Hazel & Mabel
What a find

Your Sassy Niece Rosy
At least you have a hint of green. We are covered in snow...not that we're complaining though. We love the snow.
ReplyDeleteYou have shown rebirth and hope during a cold winter
ReplyDeleteThat is very cool, can Spring really be coming? We haven't had much snow either, but we have actually had more than in previous years. And maybe some more tomorrow!! We would love to get one BIG storm and forget all these dribs and drabs.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We hope it hasn't been tricked by Mother Nature!
ReplyDeleteYay for emerging babies! Peas are so yummy!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a very "harsh" (for us) winter so we are anxious to see what plants survived. Yeah for your volunteer pea, we had volunteer watermelons one year.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is crazy all over. Good for you finding a sprout of green.
ReplyDeleteWe must have gotten all your snow. Everything is covered in white this morning.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love how nature deals with opportunities? I saw some vinca blooming yesterday on a concrete wall and thought, holy cow!
ReplyDeleteHi cutie pies! I think spring might be thinking of coming,!!
ReplyDeleteGood you dont have to walk in the cold snow!
I heard frogs croaking! Do you have froggies?

Love when the green peaks through. Spring is definitely on her way!! It is 80 degrees down here today and it is HOT.
ReplyDeleteOooh, peas! How exciting! I love peas!
ReplyDeleteWe have bitterly cold temps and snow here - more snow due in tonight. It's awesome!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
That is a sure sign that spring will be here soon. I'm glad you aren't freezing your paws off this year!
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather! How's a pug supposed to figure it all out? I guess the secret is to do what pugs do best....look crazy cute!!
ReplyDeleteLove, Gampy
We are happy to share our snow and cold:P. So glad that spring is springing somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy! That volunteer pea-plant needs to go back to sleep!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any snow either - I kept thinking that all the rain we've had today, could have been snow. Winter is running out for both of us, and I hope it comes, at least once...Sorry volunteer pea plant! :-)!
