Flower Friday Remembrance

Yesterday marked one year ago

that our Mr. Bailey went to the Rainbow Bridge

We thought we would show you how our Memorial Garden 

is doing on this Flower Friday with the LLB Gang

We have had a very nice spring 

and the garden is all in bloom

All the plants mingle together

Some that have started in one place 

have popped up in other places

A rock for each one of our babies 

waiting at the Rainbow Bridge

We just love the delicate purple flowers, 

they are our favorite in the garden

Rally and Obedience Update

What a week I had!

After getting my (and Mom's) first agility title

we headed to the Blackfoot Shows 

Thurs, Fri & Sat 

we were entered in Rally Intermediate

Thursday we qualified 

with a score of 91 and second place!

Friday our score of 92 tied for 1st place

but we had a slower time so we were awarded 2nd place

Saturday's course was the most difficult so far

All we needed to do was qualify with at least 70 pts

to earn our Rally Intermediate Title

There were 10 dogs in our class Saturday 

and I finished with a score of 96 and 1st place!!!

Here the judge is giving us our pretty pink new title ribbon

Two of our training friends also finished their titles

Sunday we entered Preferred Novice Obedience.

It was our first time doing off leash heeling 

and it did not go so well. 

As Angel Greta would say

It was a great learning experience!

Can't complain about earning two new titles in one week!

Mom says she is very proud of me!

Wahoo Wednesday!!

Sorry we were not around much yesterday

I was a little busy

EARNING MY FIRST AGILITY TITLE!!!

That is right my friends

Me and Hazel and Mom and Dad

drove 2 hours to Filer Idaho so I could take the

AKC Agility Course Test

The ACT is for beginner agility dogs

There are two levels 

ACT 1 and ACT 2

ACT 1 has jumps, tunnels, the tire, table and A-frame.

You are allowed 3 attempts at each obstacle 

but must complete the course in 60 seconds

My first run I received a pawfect score of 100 

with a course time of 44.67 seconds

My second run was even better

pawfect 100 - course time 26.22 seconds!

Yay! My ACT 1 title!!

For the ACT 2 they add in the teeter and weave poles.

Our first run I was very distracted and kept sniffing around

Three attempts to complete the weaves,

we made it through the course 

but over the course time of 70 seconds

Turned out I needed to poop!

After taking care of business

 our second run was much better

weave poles on the first try 

but when we got to the table I did not want to get on it. 

We finally had to move on but because I did not complete the obstacle we did not qualify. 

Overall Mom was very pleased with how we did.

Hazel & I even got to share a McDonald's hamburger 

on the way home! 

Today we rest  -

Tomorrow Mom & I go to the Blackfoot Dog Shows

Thurs, Fri and Sat we are entered in Rally Intermediate 

Sunday we entered Preferred Novice Obedience

Then the following weekend we are going to

 Farmington Utah for a Tea Cup Agility trial.

Wheelie House Tour

We finally got Mom to take some pictures 

of our new wheelie house

It is a little bit shorter than our old wheelie house

But it has a slide out on the one side

 which makes so much difference

As the one granddaughter said

"it is like a hobbit house,"

"it looks small on the outside but big on the inside"

So let us give you a tour

The first thing we did was get some better steps

 to make it easier for us (and short mom)

 to get in and out

How do you like our entry rug?

We liked it so much 

we had Mom put one in front of the kitchen sink too

These are our special steps

To get up on the bed

Mom just loves the open design 

But she did not care for the open shelf 

between the two bed cabinets

so they put up a shower curtain rod 

and hung curtains

The couch (that can fold down as a bed)

 is in the slide out

The black circles on the floor is where the table legs go

had fun shopping for decorations

They put up a clock and some wildlife photos

Mom found a great holder for our leashes

We truly feel blessed!
