#ChewyInfluencer 30 day Review Final Post

I reminded Mom
that we needed to give you our final thoughts about

Wild Frontier by Nutro
Lamb & Venison Meal Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food

You can read our first two posts here

This is what our pals at Chewy told us about this food

Feed your pal’s natural instincts with Wild Frontier by Nutro with Lamb & Venison Meal Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food. Featuring a grain-free, high-protein diet for your dog's natural instincts, this great-tasting dry dog food is sure to satisfy your dog's hunger. Made with deboned lamb as the #1 ingredient, it provides the steady energy she needs to run and play all day. Best of all, this vital prey diet is sure to give your dog a strong and lean body, plus a healthy skin and coat. This adult dry dog food is a complete and balanced recipe packed with all the essential nutrients and full of all the flavors she loves.

As you can see - Hazel & I enjoy this kibble

So now for our final thoughts

We had no problems at all transitioning to this kibble
 The kibble is small -
just the right size for us pugs and we both like it
My coat is glossy and soft
on the other hand Hazel is shedding like crazy
but that is not unusual for her
Mom has noticed that our poops are smaller
indicating that our pug bodies are utilizing this food better than our previous food and we don't need as much
If there is a downside it would be the cost
just over $60 for a 24 lb. bag
Being small dogs a 24 lb. bag lasts us about 10 weeks but we could see it might be cost prohibitive for larger dogs.

So would we consider ordering this again?
Yes we would!

We might even try one of their other interesting formulas
like
Beef and Wild Boar!

Thank you Natalie & Kristin at Chewy.com
for letting us try this kibble

  1. Sounds like a good food, but with multiple large dogs, that's a bit out of our budget. Tganjs for thecreview!

  3. Mmmmmmm, that all sounds healthy and delicious!

  4. Sounds tasty but I eat four cups a day. That would cut into Mom's white wine money I'm afraid. I do like my Blue Basic from Chewy - it's about $40 for the bag.

  5. We are glad the challenge worked out so well for both of you. That is a little bit more expensive than ours. We pay about $54/27 lb. bag. But if it is good for us and we like it, we are worth it, right?

  9. You both did a great review. That is a bit expensive but our food costs almost that much when not on sale.

  12. I am glad you enjoyed the food. It is a little too rich for us so you don't have to worry about us stealing it.

  14. It sounds yummy! I think Ruby would like the beef and wild boar flavor, too!

P.S.: Do you have any tips for introducing pugs? My good friend has a six year year old pug and just brought home a new puppy pug. The new little one is biting and fighting with the adult pug. Any suggestions let me know. Thanks!
