Thankful Thursday

Yesterday it was only 3 degrees when we got up in the morning. By noon it was only up to 14. I was at my usual station watching out the window when I barked at Mom to come look.

Our house sets up from the road a ways but Mom could see a little black dog with a curly tail running down our road.

Mom hollered at Dad and they could see it was heading for the cross road where the traffic travels 45-50 mph

Dad jumped in his pickup and spotted the dog running in the middle of the road. When he stopped, the little dog ran right up to him. Dad scooped her up and brought the shivering little black pug home.

She looked like she has a few years on her

Thank goodness she had a collar and tag

Dad left messages for her owners
while Hazel & I welcomed Roxy to our home

She was quite interested in sniffing everything

I really wanted to play with her
but she was too busy exploring.
I guess she felt right at home because
 she pooped in the hallway
and peed in Mom's slipper BOL!

We are thankful
that Mom looked out the window at the right time

We are thankful
that Dad got to her before she got hurt

We are thankful
that there was a happy ending
Her dad called and came and picked her up.

Well done on taking your watching station position early. Roxy sure was one lucky
little lady to have wandered past The Idaho Pug Ranch. She for sure had all the Idaho Pug guardian angels on her shoulder
