Last week my class went to a local pet store
that also has a petting zoo
I was a little nervous,
I had never seen goats and pigs before
And these big birds kinda freaked me out
Mom picked me up and let me know it was OK
I may have barked at the Emu's
but I did do some short sit stays and some recalls too
so Mom was really proud of me
We are the PugRanch Kids

Happy National Dog Day to the cutest PUGS in the whole wide world!
ReplyDeleteSurely it is OK to bark at emus?
ReplyDeleteoh how great is that? oh oh oh you went to a zoo!
ReplyDeleteOMD, you're so brave! Those big birds are MEAN!!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Hilda! (I'd probably bark at those giant birdies too.)

ReplyDeleteYou were right to be wary of those emus, Hilda; they have quite the kick! You are doing so well!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
You are doing all kinds of fun stuffs, Hilda!
ReplyDeleteWe would have done more than just bark at those emus, Hilda. They sure are strange-looking:) Bet you had fun seeing all the different animals.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We would have barked at the emus, too. There is something wrong about birds that big! Another great day out. We're not allowed in our zoo.
ReplyDeleteThose birds are huge and we can see why you might have thought they could eat you. We're glad you had a good time in the end though.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best pet store ever!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Hilda :) You rock!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you saw quite the group of animals. That is cool
ReplyDeleteThose birds would freak us out too. We have a pig cousin now, so that wouldn't bother us. We think you did great, Hilda. Xox Xena and Lucy
ReplyDeleteWell Done Hilda!! Those Emus are big and scary and OMPs they have long legs and are in need of a pedicure too. Hugs to you my huggy puggy
