Snake!

A few weeks ago Dad noticed this little guy
just outside our fence

Do you see him peeking out of the hole?

He was kind enough to come out and pose for the camera

Then he said goodbye

and slithered off

Rookie of the Year!!!!

PugMom here today
Every once in a while the pugs let me have a
Grandma Brag Day

A lot of you know that our grandson plays college baseball
After playing 2 years for the College of Southern Idaho, his junior year he played for Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. This summer he has been playing summer ball with the Western Major Baseball League Swift Current Indians in Saskatchewan, Canada

During the season he was named Week 6 Hitter of the Week

Bodie Cooper of the Swift Current Indians was a pretty straight forward choice for hitter of the week. The 6'2" catcher from Chubbuck, Idaho led the Indians to a 4-2 week recording hits in all but one of the Indians 6 games on the week. In four of those games Cooper had multi hit nights. For the week Cooper's stat line looked like this: 6 G, .478 AVG (11-23), .556 OBP, 1.643 OPS, 8 R, 3 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 11 RBI, 3 BB, 1 HBP. Cooper attended Wayne State College this past season where he hit .276 with 11 HR, and a team leading 39 RBI's. Congratulations to Bodie Cooper on being named WMBL Hitter of the Week.
