Yesterday was Pet Memorial Day
and we told you we would show you
our little memorial garden
notice there is a fence around it
that is to keep me & Hazel out
well mostly me
Hazel likes to eat some of the plants
butt I like to eat the plants and the bark
Dad had cut down the willow bush in the corner
because I wouldn't leave it alone
Mom was glad that it grew back

Its just so beautiful...my mom is a bawl baby today so even reading your post was rather hard for her. She loves it tho and all the memories and love found within your garden. We also wanted to send you a quiet thank you for sending my mom that email awhile back about your Olive. She thinks of that story often and all your love for her.

That is a wonderful idea! Momma says she's going to have to start something like this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a LOVELY memorial garden. So filled with LOVE and Memories.
ReplyDeleteOh Pug Ranch Kids...that is the prettiest memorial garden I have ever seen. You are so lucky to have a place to reflect on loves passed.

That's so beautiful. Our little pet cemetery in our yard needs lots of work again. The weeds have taken over but Mom and Dad are so busy with the house remodel that the cemetery/memorial garden will wait a couple of months and then get cleaned up with winter flowers being planted.
ReplyDeleteI love all your little rocks.
That is such a nice garden.

How beautiful! I love that you have a whole area of the yard dedicated just to them.
ReplyDeleteHi Idaho Pug Kids
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of pet gardens in my yard. I don't know any of the pets buried there because they were a long long time before me. They are all in really serene corners. Nice.
Love Molly
This is a nice spot. We dont have a garden or a memorial spot at our house for our departed pets. I considred it but decided Id rather just have my paintings and photos of the pets. Pretty much every wall in our house is covered with them

WOW! You guys keep on wowing me with your magnificent gardens! This one especially is so touching. <3
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. What a lovely idea. Wish he had room for one (our yard is SO small - typical So. Cal. yard). Hmm.... I *was* trying to turn one corner of our yard into a little garden, but maybe I should give up and do that instead. Especially after we were overrun with tomato worms last month! The horror.
ReplyDeleteJust a lovely spot. Very special.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Christy
Wow what a cool idea. After the pet cremation day, I went right away to our garden, that's Shimmy fave place in our house. It's been 2 weeks when she died. I miss you.
