Every spring Mom & Dad usually have a home project
This year they are giving
the outside of the house a makeover
New color paint, new trim and shutters
Last weekend they started painting
at the far end of the house
I could not see Mom but I knew she was there
I whined and cried and carried on and on
MOMMM!!! I want to be with you!!!!
the second day they moved to the front of the house
but I was still separated from Mom by the fence
Come on Mom!!
Let me be with you!!
This weekend they painted the back of the house
and for a while I was STILL separated from Mom
by the back yard fence to the BIG yard
Then finally Mom moved inside the little yard
to the deck and I was so disgusted when
she put up a fence around where she was painting
I just had to let her know my displeasure
I dare you Mom to get down off that ladder
and stop me from ripping up this paper
Sheesh!
All I wanted was to be with you

Awwwww that is so cute, all you wanted was to be with your momma! I would have pitched a fit too, I have been helping my Pawrents with decorating the house, but I didn't have to be shut out because all I do is sit nice next to Mum as she paints, then she takes me out for a long walk to avoid the nasty paint fumes while Dad and my Grandpawrents paint! I'm a lucky puggy! Spring means decorating there with you as well as here with us! I love all of your photos, especially the last photo, naughty naughty! BOL!

Wow, I don't blame you a bit! How can you properly snoopervise them if you can't get near. Humpft. Chewing up that paper is a good way to be sure they know better next time. BOL I can't wait to see how you house looks when it's all done.
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,
Sarge, Pol Comm
With the look you had in the second picture my mom would be defeated, that's for sure. First I was sad too to be barred from their DIY-projects, but after 5 years full of of diy-disasters I better stay away voluntary.
ReplyDeleteso sweet that face my goodness its too cute. We have had DIY issues here as well, Weasley unraveled a scarf I was knitting. I dont knit anymore

We don't blame you either. What was your mom thinking??? GOOD GRIEF... without you THERE to snoopervise... they probable did a pitiful job. No hairs in the paint or nuffin... it will be BORING. Serves her right fur FENCING you OUT.
ReplyDeleteWrite this down... and come Dec. Furst... send it to Santa Paws. Just sayin.

OMD, those pics are ADORABLE! How can she resist you? I think she should put you in one of those baby-bjorn (sp?) things and carry you around with her! :)
ReplyDeleteOh but your cute little faces are adorable behind the fence!! Now be good puggys and don't cry too much,, cause you would not want paint all over you- would you?

ReplyDeleteHow could she leave you BEHIND a fence. You needed to snoopervise and make sure she didn't miss a spot! You need a treat (or two).

BOL - I'd try barkin her - make it so loud she HAS to pay attention.
ReplyDeleteI think she shoulda put a paint brush in your paw, and put you to work.

Oh my...I cannot believe she left you behind fences that were far away from her! And how...HOW...could she resist that face of yours peeking through the fence? I mean, honestly...she deserved all the ripping of the paper you could muster!

You are just too cute, Greta. I love that photo of your little face smooshed into the opening in the fence. I know what you mean though. I get most worked up when I can see or hear my dad but can't get to him. Like when he's talking to one of our neighbors in the hallway. I scratch at our apartment door until he lets me come out and join in the conversation. :)
