I must say friends,
I haven't had a lot of experience with snow
It has been cold, sometimes VERY cold,
but we just have not had much snow since I arrived
That was until Tuesday morning
We woke up to this!
I know you really can't tell
but the wind was blowing the snow all around
How is a little puglet like me supposed to go potty
when the wind is blowing snow in your face!
But when you gotta go, you gotta go
At least the blowing snow kept mom
from taking pictures of the "event"
The snow storm also brought out something else
something very strange I had not seen before
WHAT the HECK are THOSE in MY kitchen ?????
Geeeze Mabel
It's just Mom's snow boots!
We are the PugRanch Kids
Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
Go get 'em Mabel, they look vicious thingys to me, you're such brave for a little girlie!

I can't wait for it to warn up so Fry and Mabel can experience there first spring
ReplyDeleteThose boots are almost as big as you, Mabel, so I'm not surprised that you were scared. But, it would be very cute if you climbed into one :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that this was your first snow. I thought it snowed a lot in Idaho!
It sure looks pretty. We kinda forgot what snow looks like over here, it's going to be 70 tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteStay Warm, Mabel and Crew
Wyatt and Stanzie
You tell those boots what for! Not sure about you, but we hope those boots are going back in the closet soon. We are so over the winter.
ReplyDeleteKilo the Black Rescue Pug is not keen on snow and we have had heaps here in Toronto this winter. He also gets rather upset with big coats + fake fur trim left lying around- I think he thinks they are dogs. Not long until spring thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteGood job Mabel, you can never be too sure about furry things. It is best to let them know who is boss.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Hey Mabel!
ReplyDeleteWow, great job protecting the house from those boots! You just never know when something could turn nasty and you made sure everyone was safe. BOL Loved your little bark...it made me wag.
BTW: Enjoy your new collar! Clara's has the coolest selection of goodies. :)
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
Oh my dogness, you are sure cute! So glad we haven't had much snow this winter. We only really had one snow day and it was baaaaaaaad! Took me two hours to drive home. That's enough to last me for the whole winter.
ReplyDeleteOooooh, such scary boots!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave little girl! I love how she had her behind up against her BFF to feel safe!
ReplyDeleteMabel you are a wuss being afraid of snow boots. But you know what, you are an adorable wuss. Now you said "our newspaper made it official - Idaho has had the warmest winter on rec." well newpapers said Dewey Defeats Truman. Just you wait with this crazy weather something will be coming.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
