Last week we got
not one!
butt two boxes from our friends at Chewy
The big box had a bag of food for us
and
a new crate pad for Me!
The other box came from the nice
Ms. Sydney with our fun stuff to review!
She not only sent us the new furminator dual brush
to try out but also some yummy treats
We chose Liver Recipe Low Fat Dog Treats
made by Fromm
These treats are perfect bite size for a pug
and Mom likes that they are lightly crunchy so they can
go in our treat container in the kitchen and she doesn't have to worry about them drying out
and they are great in a pocket - no staining.
Made in the USA
they have only four ingredients,
Wheat flour, fresh chicken liver, salt, garlic powder.
and one calorie per treat
We think they are pawsitively yummy!
Now some of you know that pugs
SHED A LOT!!
Mom was anxious to try the new furminator brush to see how it would work on our furs
The brush has two sides, bristles and "pins"
Mom liked the easy grip handle, but the cover was useless, it would not stay snapped together.
I found the bristle side of the brush kinda relaxing and it made my furs look shiny!
Then Mom tried the "pin" side on Bailey,
who is shedding horribly right now
Unfortunately the brush did not do much to get out the shedding hair. We have short coats and it did not grab the hairs like the regular furminator does.
Mom wasn't done testing though.
When our cousin Willow came over for our weekly playdate, Mom tried the brush on her.
She is a mini-schnauzer
The pin side worked very nicely getting through her longer furs on her sides, making her look very pretty
(sorry no pictures)
So after our in depth analysis,
While this is a very nice brush,
we think it is better suited to pups with longer furs than pugs. Like our friends Frankie & Ernie
Thank you Chewy and Ms Sydney
for letting us try out these products
