RIP Sweet Baby Rayne

Dear Friends

It was only a short time ago that we introduced you to
 two pups who live with Mom's granddaughter- 
and recently started their own blog

We are so so saddened to tell you that baby Rayne 
went to the Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Eve
and left her Mom with a broken heart



We really do not know what happened - 
only that sometime while her Mom was at work, 
Rayne was tragically injured while in her own fenced backyard. Her mom rushed her to the vet, but Rayne succumbed to her injuries on the way there. It appeared that she must have been kicked - kicked hard enough to break her ribs and puncture her lung.

We just can not comprehend how someone could do this 
we just can't


Rayne got a rough start in life -last August found abandoned in a box as a very young puppy


taken home - cared for and loved dearly by her Mom and brother Tucker, she was a sweet and quiet girl, 
she was her Mom's baby girl

    Oh noooo.... I'm so sad for your Baby Rayne and I'm heartbroken for your mom's granddaughter... what a sad christmas they have this year.... sometimes the world is just not fair... hugs to you all... I hope this dark year of sorrows is over soon... and the next one brings good things to us...

    That is just devastating!! Poor little baby Rayne. I'm sure Cinderella and all Blogville's other alums are showing her around the Rainbow Bridge now. We will keep her family in our thoughts.

    Oh my gosh I'm so sorry and heartbroken...to read about Rayne. What type of subhuman would come in a private yard then attack a precious puppy. Bless her heart. May your granddaughter find peace in knowing that she gave Rayne a loving and caring home. we are so sorry

    This is such awful, sad news! It looks like someone kicked her? How heartless and cruel! We've only know Rayne here in Blogville for a short time, but I know that I am devastated to hear this. I can only imagine what her family must be feeling...all my love goes out to her family.

    Oh, this is so very sad. I feel horrible for Rayne and her whole family. There is a special place in hell for anyone who would harm an animal, of that I'm sure. And, Rayne is an angel over the bridge.

    We have come over from the POTP blog to say how terribly saddened we are to hear of the violent and totally senseless way poor Rayne has left her family..losing a pet is awful at any time..any way but to a vile act of cruelty..it is tragically hard..i know we lost a cat to a gunshot and we felt his loss in a way we have never felt before...we send our love and hope and pray that the evil person who did this is treated to the same actions as they inflicted on an innocent..all our love and deepest sympathy Fozziemum and family xx

    This is just beyond belief. Who would ever do this to a sweet puppy. We are also in shock and heartbroken and share the pain of everyone who reads about this. My deepest sympathy to you and to Rayne's family. I will include Rayne in the December edition of 'Our Rainbow Friends'.

    Oh my dog... I can't take it. Humans can be so horrible. But I already knew that (a person intentionally shot my first dog). Yet, each time, it hurts all over again. Poor baby Rayne. I will go visit but you have my condolences too.
