Run With the Big Dogs

Last Saturday, Mom & I participated in the

20th annual Run With The Big Dogs 

 It's a fundraiser 

for our local animal shelter

We got a tote bag with a t-shirt for mom, our race number, some toys, a leash and other goodies

I got my very own bandana to wear

This is Bianca, 

she came with Mom's granddaughter

(you may remember her from Out of the Mouth's of Dogs)

There were a lot of other dogs there

We signed up for the 2K walk

next year we will try the 5K

After our walk, 

Bianca enjoyed one of several wading pools

Bailey & Dory's Tropical Dream Vacation

The planning is done

The day is finally here

I promised Dory the vacation of our dreams

Now Boarding 

Dreamland Airlines non stop to Paradise!

Look! the water is so blue! 

and the beach goes on for miles!

First a little relax time on the sparkling clear water

Oh Bailey! Look at all the pretty fishies! 

I wish we could swim underwater!

We can Dory!

 With these special hats we can swim like a fish!

A bit of lunch and a nice tropical breeze 

makes it pawfect for a nap in our hammocks 

as we rest up for our next adventure

Parasailing!!!!

 What a breathtaking view!

It has been the most pawsome vacation Dory

having this time together 

just the two of us

but it is not over yet

The dolphins were so friendly!

They even gave us a ride!

Thank you Dolphin friends! 

Then it was time for more relaxing on the beach 

But Wait!

Here at the PugRanch we take recycling seriously

We have our very own recycling shed where we store recyclable plastic, cardboard and newspapers.

We take them to the recycle center and that means less stuff goes to the local landfill.

Recycled newspapers and cardboard also means less trees will be cut.

Flowers For Dory

Today we are joining our co-host Kinley 

for a very special 

"Flowers for Dory" Friday

In honor of our beautiful furiend 

we are sharing some of our favorite pictures 

from last spring and summer

Delicate pink blossoms!

Mom loved this violet color

and the dark peach too!

After a long harsh winter - spring has been slow to come to the PugRanch this year and no hint of flowers

But on the day that Dory went to the Rainbow Bridge

This ground cover burst into delicate flowers

 as if it was blooming for Dory

Dory was Mr Bailey's sweetheart

and he loved taking her on dates

Their first date was Valentines Day 2015 

and Bailey fell head over paws for beautiful Dory

They had many more wonderful dates together 
and he always wanted to make her feel special

Our very favorite memory 

was getting to meet Dory (and Arty) in the furs. 

They stopped by the PugRanch to visit 

on their way home from the BAR last summer

Bailey couldn't believe she was really here 

In his dreams he always remembers 
how lovely she looked that day

Bailey & Dory were in the midst of planning their

Tropical Dream Vacation when Dory fell ill. 

It was Dory's dream to still go on that vacation

A dream is a wish your heart makes

and it is Bailey's wish to make that dream come true

Tylees 30 day Challenge Post #2

For two weeks now Mom has been putting 

TYLEE"S

on our kibble as a topper
