Wednesday with Words

Sorry we have been kinda MIA lately

we have some family stuff going on.

Our grandma (Dad's mom) is in very poor health and is getting hospice care at home. Dad is spending a lot of time there. In the midst of that Mom's older brother passed away last week in California. Mom won't be traveling for the service as she doesn't want to leave Dad.

In addition Mom's new computer had a fit with the big Windows update, requiring not one but two total resets to get all things up and running  again.

We are trying to keep up with everybody
and
Hazel & I are really looking forward to the Holiday fun!

  17. Sometimes life gets busy. Our mom knows how hard it is when parents get old and their health fails them. Mom calls this holy time. Take care our friends!

  18. Statistics prove that more people pass away during the holidays ~ our condolences on the loss of your brother. Strange Lee's grandmother passed on Thanksgiving years ago and her mother would never celebrate Thanksgiving only years later did someone point out to Lee that Thanksgiving was not the same date every year. When something is repeated it becomes engrained if it true or not. All Lee's relatives are gone and she is the last so she knows the strain of being a caregiver.
