Hi Friends,
Hazel here today
First of all thank you everyone for the well wishes.
Mabel & I are on the mend poopwise.
But I gave Mom & Dad a scare Friday night right about bedtime.
I have been going to the dogtor and getting some treatments for my arthritis as I have been getting weaker in my back end. They are not sure what I did but suddenly I was having trouble standing and walking. I did not want to use my right leg and my back legs would not help support me.
After a call to my dogtor, she thought it had to do with my back or old neck problem.
Mom gave me some anti-inflammatory and they fixed the bed so I could not get off.
Another sleepless night for the peeps but I was better in a few hours.
Which brings me to my new rug
I sometimes have trouble keeping my footing on slick floors.
One of my favorite places to be is in the study with Mom when she is on the computer,
but it has hardwood flooring.
Saturday Mom and Dad went shopping
and brought home a large throw rug
Oh My Pug! It is so soft!
Thanks Mom & Dad for my new rug
I think I will take a nap right here
We are the PugRanch Kids

That is the perfect pug rug!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you are better. And we think that rug is just the thing...not only for keeping your footing, but sleeping.....and maybe rolling?
ReplyDeleteHazel! That was so sweet of your mom and dad to buy you a rug! I don't like slippy floors, either! Fortunately we don't have hard wood floors, but we have tile in some rooms.
ReplyDeleteWe're relieved to hear you were ok after the scare -- and that both of you girls are feeling better!
Cammie!
Pawsome, thats just the bestest idea to avoid any slippages Hazel and it does look the softest snuggliest rug evers.

Bless your mom and dad for getting a rug just for you, Hazel! The same thing happened to angel Maggie and mom had runners and rugs all over the hardwood floors just for her.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteOh yes, those woody floors are very smart, but also very slip-slidy-aways!!! That is one very smart rug - blending pawfectly with your furs!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Awww, you have the best Mom and Dad, Hazel. We had to get lots of runners for the hardwoods in our house for Angel Phantom. We still have them down here, but we would love a soft rug like yours. Take care and be careful, Hazel.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That looks like a proper, comfortable rug. We pray that you feel better.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautimous new rug Hazel...and it does look sooooo very comfy! We are sending lots of POTP and hope your back legs get better soon!

That is a very nice rug, Hazel. I am so glad it is easier for you to visit Mom when she is on the computer. We are praying your legs are doing better.
ReplyDeletethat rug is wonderful!!!!!! We have Pergo floors in our living/dining room and Dakota is having a little bit of trouble on them too. I do have a large throw rug but I am thinking I might need a few runners to put around.
ReplyDeleteHope ya enjoy your new rug. Hope your legs get better - sending POTP.
ReplyDeleteOh, those wood floors are so pretty
ReplyDeleteto look at but really are not feet
friendly for us doggies.
Once I was running so fast and slid
dad thought I was going to land under the frig.
We hope having rugs helps with your legs.
♥ Astro and Mitzie
our pawrents really love you tons, Hazel. Mom said that acupuncture helped Angel Lexi a lot, and chiropractics helps a lot, too. Whatever you do, just be well. xox Lucy and Xena
ReplyDeleteHow sweet that your pawrents bought that rug just for you. Be careful though since it is almost like camouflage when you lay down on it.
ReplyDeleteOur doggies all got like that when they were about 13 years old. Back legs dont work right anymore. Vet said it was arthritis in the spine. Glad the new omfy carpet helps you.
ReplyDeleteAging is not for the faint of heart is it? We think your new rug looks comfy.
ReplyDeleteYour new rug looks squishy soft. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAw, Hazel, your parents must have been so scared. I'm so glad that you are feeling better. A Queen like you deserves your very own throw rug. Hugs to all of you.
ReplyDeleteGurl, that is why I have all those rugs in my back yardie! I gots really really really slick feets, so I used to slip ALL the time! Ma put down rugs so I could run without fallin' on my arse! Also have them all over the house! Oh, and Ma found that yoga mats work well too. She's gonna bring one to the vettie when I go so I don't slip all overs their wood flooring.
