Kong Jumbler Review

We were recently asked if we would like
review a new toy by Kong

KONG has recently introduced the Jumbler,
an interactive two-in-one toy that will add extra fun to any play or fetch session!
Not only do the Jumbler's handles make shaking, picking up, and tossing easy,
but the loud squeak and tumbling tennis ball inside will entice your dog for hours.
The Jumbler comes in several colors, two sizes (M/L and L/XL) and two fun shapes.
a round ball or football

When the box arrived we were all
excited to see what was inside

The Jumbler Football!

sorry that the picture is sideways
but you can see
the tennis ball inside the plastic football.
Mom thought since I LOVE little tennis balls
that I would find this toy intriguing
It is made from a heavy soft plastic,
it has a squeaker and two grab handles

We were asked to choose a size
M/L or L/XL
dang, no small size so we chose M/L

You can see here it seems kinda big for me to pick up
Of course being a pug I am at a disadvantage
with no snout I can't get my mouth around it

I was really excited as Mom teased me with it
but this next video
pretty much sums how I feel about this toy

Once it is on the ground I just don't get it
Mom thinks I would have liked the Ball shape better
than the football  - IF I could have gotten it to roll around to chase it. Mom has tried several times to get me interested but I just walk away.

the toy itself is well made (of course - it is a KONG toy)
bigger dogs who like to chase and fetch would probably have a lot of fun with this toy. Even a dog my size might like it if they were able to get their mouth on it.  As I said that is a disadvantage of not having a snout.

We appreciate Kong giving us the opportunity to
try the Kong Jumbler,
Unfortunately it was not a hit with us

Review Disclaimer:  Idaho PugRanch received a Kong Jumbler toy from Kong in
exchange for an honest review.  We were not compensated in any other way for this post.

  1. Hmmm, what a shame you didn't "get it". But it probably is hard for you to fetch something that shape and size when you Pugs have no snout. It does look interesting and as you said, it is a Kong...which means it is tough and durable.

  2. That was a great, honest review. Sorry you didn't seem to like it and it will probably be a hit with more suitable dogs but you did a great job trying it out!

  3. We love how HONEST you were. Kong will WANT to know that they need a SMALLER size and that this toy is not a HIT with certain of us... that way they can IMPROVE it.
Maybe you can have your mom tie some RIBBON on the HANDLE so you can pull it around with somethingy that WILL fit your mouth better...
You gave this toy a GOOD try. We say BRAVO fur THAT.

  5. I love Kong toys, why I have the first one ever given to me. They last. I think like you a round won would be more fun.

  7. They definitely need to make that in a smaller size! Or leave parts of it open so small pups like us could grab hold of it.

  9. Maybe the WILL come out with a smaller one. We don't play with balls much...Roxy and Dui like to rip them apart, but that's about it.

  13. Oh, bummer guys! Yeah, i thinks if it was a small size you all would have LOVED it!!
It looks like tons of funs to me!! I loves a toy like this Ma gots me called a Teaser Ball. It has a bouncy ball inside a hard plastic ball and it drives me NUTS!! Butts Ma has to take it away from me cause I chew the hard plastic to try and gets to the ball inside.
I thinks this would be much betters! Thanks for the review guys!
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  17. Sorry to hear it wasn't quite your cup of tea, Greta. My dad said it's hard sometimes to predict what toys will be huge hits with me and what toys I won't have any interest in. Although sometimes if you leave a toy around, we may find it interesting later.

    -Love,
    Sid.
