No Tricks Just Treats !

Just show them how you are enjoying Halloween and how you have helped or plan to help a local shelter

For everyone that joins the hop with their special post and for each comment left on their blog they will be donating some green papers to the Shelter that Arty and Jakey were adopted from.


It was about this time last year that Mom had gone through all the dog toys, cleaned and separated them and decided to donate some of the toys to our local animal shelter in honor of Angel Greta. Mom knew that Greta would love to help less fortunate dogs have fun.

This year Mom read in the newspaper that the local Subaru Dealer was inviting us to Stuff a Subaru to help our local Shelter and the local Humane Society




So last Saturday we loaded up a large bag of dog food 
and some toys and headed to town


The peeps there were very nice 
and let me go inside for pictures! 


They were impressed with my picture posing!
And I got to practice some of my Canine Good Citizen skills!


Dad put the bag of food and toys in the car - 
he was too quick for the camera

    Wow, this is such a fun howliday! I remember sweet Greta Spider. In my house, we adore Subaru. It's my favorite ride and Mom's beloved Ru. Great pix of all of that donated loot.

    This is such a great thing to post about for many reasons. Congrats on helping a good cause and for giving others some great ideas for their local shelters, too.

    I know around here the local high schools and some charitable groups often sponsor stuff a vehicle, room, etc. for human food pantries, but I've never seen one for animal shelters. What a great idea for other shelters to consider, too. Thanks for sharing.
