Sometimes when Mom & Dad come home
and they've been gone for a while I get a little excited
They let me out of my crate and I am so beside myself
that I just have to grab something
I used to grab one of my blankets from my crate
but lately it has been one of the dog beds
I grab it and run around with it and whine and cry
to let mom & dad know how much I missed them
while they were gone
That's not so silly
is it???

nooooo.... that's not silly, that is very cute ;o) I throw things at my staff to show my joy when they are back... shoes and marrow bones and such stuff.... that's also not silly, or is it?
ReplyDeleteThat is very, very silly. Hailey always brings a toy to the door to show the peeps how much she missed them.
ReplyDeleteIts too cute! I just loose my puppy mind when momma returns. Its the best part of the day!
ReplyDeletePuppy Growls,
Lucy
Not at all! Momma laughs at my "victory lap" when she lets me out of my room. I'll grab my toy that she left in with me and take it on a few laps around the house. Just stretching both our legs, that's all!
ReplyDeleteWe don't think you are being silly but we have to admit that bed is a bit big for you to be dragging around.
ReplyDeleteMabel that is too funny...wonder why the big bed is what you grab. You are silly but that is what makes you a huggy puggy
ReplyDeleteMadi your bfff
Mable, we think you are funny, carrying your bed around.
ReplyDeleteI do crazy stuff and run around the house too.
Last night I ran so fast mom said i could put a dent in the frig
if I didn't make the turn between the door and family room. My legs were flying.

When my humans come home, I find my newest, most favorite squeaky toy, and prance around with it.
ReplyDeletewe don't think it is silly. We bring our humans a toy and they always smile. We love to see them smile
ReplyDeleteWe all bring our peeps toys when dey come home.
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! Maybe she was a retriever in a past life!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! We put stuff in our mouth when we're excited too - just not that big!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
It's super-sweet, that's what it is!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We think that's cute. And you are so strong!
ReplyDeleteNope, it's perfectly normal behavior, Mabel! When it's time for me to eat, I always grab a toy because I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute. When Mom is going normally it's just for work time but when Dad is gone it's sometimes for a week or more. When he gets home I get really excited and go grab my crunchy rabbit that my MIA boyfriend Frankie got me and I run around with it. Abby Lab
ReplyDeleteIt IS silly and adorable! Dakota does the same but he grabs one of his toys. I love what YOU do, it is hilarious!! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteThe picture of you dragging the bed is just the cutest picture ever
ReplyDeleteBOL!!! Yuppers, I do that too! Except, I usually have to grab one of my many stuffies and do the terrier head wack! BOL! Then, it's the back and forth between Ma's legs! I thinks all of us puppers gets a little silly when our peeps FINALLY return home!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Mabel, we think it is very cute. Angel Thunder would always grab one of those birdies or squirrels from the hidey toys and carry it in his mouth all the while whining and crying - when Mom and Dad came home after being gone for a few hours. It is just our way of letting them know how much we missed them:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
Enthusiasm, I'd say. With a dose of gratitude the pawrents are home.
ReplyDeleteMabel you look so dang cute with that enormous dog bed hanging out of your mouth. I can only imagine how funny it is to see you running around with it!
ReplyDelete-Love,
Sid.
That is what love is all about! Pierre brings us a toy whenever we get home. You are mighty strong carrying your bed around. ♥
ReplyDeleteNot silly at all Mabel. It is very sweet of you :-) Nose licks and love from Moth xx
