Good Morning Friends!
When Mom & Dad were in Great Falls, Montana
they spent some time walking in a mall
to get some exercise
The mall had a PetsMart store.
We have one opening soon in Pocatello
so Mom wanted to check it out
They saw this awesome split antler
and just knew they had to bring it home for me
These pictures show how much I enjoy my new antler chew!
Lots of marrow!
I am in antler chew heaven!
This is what our sky looked like yesterday.
We have had some wild fires in our area
and a new one started Friday
The Powerline fire has spread quickly
and already consumed over 50000 acres.
It has come within 4 miles of Pocatello's boundaries
At this time they have prevented the fire from moving closer to town.
Unfortunately we are expecting dry thunderstorms later today with up to 50 mph winds
so the firefighters are working extra hard today.
We pray for the safety of all those battling wildfires around the country.
As for us - we actually live a little north of Pocatello.
The air quality is horrible but we should be OK.

ReplyDeleteBe safe dear friends. There are some terrible fires this year.
ReplyDeleteWe have never tried a split antler. Putting it on out wish list now.
We've been hearing about the wildfires -- they are so scary! We hope and pray they're able to contain them or even better put them out soon.
ReplyDeleteStay safe -- and enjoy that antler!
Yours sincerely,

That fire is scary. Glad you have a delicious antler to keep you calm. That antler looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, those wildfires are so scary. We will cross our paws for all those at risk, and especially for the firefighters. Misty just loves a good antler. As you may have seen, her cave under the kitchen table has several:P)

Hoping those fires leave you alone!! Dakota is NOT a fan of antlers at all! He is a strange dog!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sad to hear about the big fire! We hope it gets put out soon. Ghostwriter has been looking at those antler treats at the local Country Max, but never bought me one. (hint hint) Maybe she will now.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a good antler. We hope the fire is extinguished soon
ReplyDeleteMmmm...that antler looks nommy Mabel and it looks like you are having a blast chewing it!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a scary time of year...we are sending lots of prayers for safety for all the firefighters!

We haven't had antlers before because we only get chews that can be eaten in one sitting. A certain Basset brother doesn't share very well. BOL! We are praying for the firemen and that the fires can be contained.
ReplyDeleteOh that antler chew thingy looks very great funs!
ReplyDeleteTake care around those wild fires, they are NOT funs at all
Loves and licky kisses

Congrats on getting a pawsome new antler-they are big hits around the Ranch. Hoping all those firefighters in your area and the residents stay extra safe and some well placed showers or higher humidity help them out.
ReplyDeleteHope you guys stay out of the path of the fires! So scary. We have that issue a lot here in California and it's very scary!
ReplyDeleteI used to love antlers (back when I had more teeth!). You sure look like you are enjoying it! I'm sorry about the fires - hope you all stay safe and healthy!

Sid.
